Who sells those parts? I need just the headlights.

Nice looking build you have there. I am glad you posted this one. Now I know someone makes the headlights for a 71. I have had one since they first came out. I lost the headlights to it some how.

Would that be a Lady Shick by chance. I don't think I would use it.

First one I have ever seen . Looks pretty cool.

Very well done. I like the way the wood looks. I started one of these but never finished it. You have me wanting to work on mine again.

That turn out looking pretty nice. I just started building one. I have filled in the stupid notches on the cowl area on the hood side. Filed off the back of the hood so it is even all the way across. Why they made the hood and cowl area like that I don't know? Those notches just don't be long there.

Looks like a lot of the old models of the late 50's or early 60's. The model magazines were full of those one off customs back then.

I got three cents a pop bottle for turning them in. Sometimes it took me awhile to get enough to buy a model. I also ran errands for folks to get money for models. The sad part is that, me and my buddies would blow them up or burn them most of the time. We would not even bother painting them. With the price of models now days it seems it has come full circle. Still hard to spend that much on a model.

The red one looks better. The top on the blue one looks like it is incomplete. Was it a Geo that had an convertible roof like the blue one? Kinda looks like a Ninja Turtle to me.

I sure don't agree pulling over and sitting with my flashers on because my low beams went out. I would drive with just my flashers on to get some place safe. I wish they would pass a law here about driving in the left lane. I hate slow pokes that drive in the passing lane. I don't know about drinking laws either as I don't drink and drive. Anti-lock brakes are junk on a truck as I slide down my driveway when there is snow and ice on it. That tells you which ones I got wrong.

My sister and a buddy of mine had one those. I have always wanted one to build myself. They are out of my price range also. Looks like your of to a good start on you save.

Like I said before, How would you get away with driving those cars on the street? Most of them have to come from junkyards.

That's two nice builds so far from you on the Fox plate form. I have been slowly been making a stock 79 Capri like my real one. Looking forward to your stock Capri build.

It is too bad that some people got burnt by Evil. Everyone on this board knows what happened. So learn your lesson. Some people will cheat, lie and steal to get what they want. No one said life is fair. Chalk it up to experience . Get on with you life. Evil is sure no hero!!!!! We have heard enough of this. Lets get back to building models and talking about them.

I would like too know how some of those people could afford to insure the car after it is pimped? Since they are to poor to even do anything to their cars before. You know they would have liability insurance if any at all.

A lot of the cars I have seen on the show are pure junk. How would you pass any inspection in them? Every cop in town would pull them over. They do some great looking paint jobs and interior work on the cars. The body work is not made too last long. I do believe they do fix the engines and trans on them if they need it. I noticed also, if they really like the type of car it is, they will go all out to do it right. The first thing I would do if they did my car would sell all the stereo junk and monitors they put in them. Then go buy me a car with the money.

The model companies go to the trouble to make the so they can roll . I build them to roll . That also makes it much easier to switch wheels and tires if I want too later on. There is nothing worst than me buying a built up model and all the wheels are glued on . You have to cut them off most of the time . Then you have to figure out how to make new axle stubs. I am like George. I like the old metal axles.

Looks like you got a really nice build there. I think your paint work looks great. I think Mustangs have been painted in every color there is out there. Who's to say what color choice is bad ? I would like to see how you made the interior look so good.

I get that feeling here myself sometimes. I do not let it bother me at all. I like this form too much too leave it. That is just part of life. Just keep going and don't worry about it.

I think your selling it to cheap. With new rims and tires and a engine that clean. They would want more like four thousand dollars around here four it. Nice looking build you got there.

Try looking on Craigslist.com in the parts section . I have seen a lot of Fox Mustang parts for sale in that section. Just look up your state and city close to you. It seems that Mustang race car builders are always selling parts and bodies.

I am a Lurker mostly. I comment sometimes. I have struck a cord or two from some of my post. I have never post a model or work in progress. I do not want to take the time and hassle to learn how to post pictures. I read the board almost everyday. I have learned a lot from the boards I am on.

First of all great paint work. I just have to ask? what was you into back then, when you painted those murals on your real one? Were you one of the Knights of the Round Table?
