  1. I agree I like the color also. Like they say put some race decals on it . Would not look so plain then.
  2. You sure have a bunch of nice builds . Glad you posted them.
  3. Thanks for the heads up on this. I just watched it . That was cool to see a model turned in to a real one. I bet Monogram and Revel wish they had something to do with it? The model companies don't care about car shows and model contest anymore. If they did they just might sell more models?
  4. Your video is much better . The ride last much longer.
  5. That sounds great that the promoter wants to include the model awards in next years show. Now if you could get the model companies involved? That would be to everyone's benefit. I think the model companies are missing the boat by not showing up at these car shows. They seem to not want to promote models anymore. With any product if you don't advertise all you can ,you die.
  6. That turned out nice . You should be proud to take it to a show.
  7. That's one cool ride you got there. Looks awful empty in the back though. You need a bed and a bar back there or a coffin.
  8. Sounds like you used way to much glue. I only put a very thin coat between each layer. More glue does not make a better joint. It can make a part soft and ruin it. I put a very thin coat of glue on one part and then slide the parts together making sure the glue is spread between the parts even, by that time they are almost completely bonded. Sounds like you were trying to glue all the pieces together at once and used to much glue to keep them moving while trying to adjust the pieces to fit your form. Try gluing two pieces together at a time against your form when they fit, glue another to those and build it up slow. I only use Evergreen and have had no problems doing it that way.
  9. I have done in less than an hour. I would think it should be dry in 24 hours.
  10. That's a tough call. Are you sure it will peal paint by taking it off? I don't think it looks bad the way it is.
  11. I have to agree that is one sharp looking ride. The color, stance all look right.
  12. Nice to see someone building one of these. Now I can see what is missing from the motor on mine. I got one in a bunch of models I bought a few years back. Some how the body was heated and shrunk and it ruined it. Anybody have a body and hood for one? I will be watching this build. I agree that the front tires look to big on the front. Makes it look like a four wheel drive.
  13. Those are awesome !
  14. I like the Pontiac the best also. You have done some nice work on all of them.
  15. That is one nice build. Looks great.
  16. Nice idea. Looks like you have done a great job so far
  17. Happy Birthday and many more.
  18. Nice pictures. I love the 62 Fairlane in pictures 100 thru 103. My first car was a 62 Fairlane automatic with a 6 cylinder
  19. I agree with everyone else that is one beautiful build. Nice detail under the hood.
  20. Looks like you got the hang of it. Looks great so far.
  21. I built the 69 Mustang just like the real one I had. The one I got was molded in yellow the same as the real one. They are nice kits. Nice work on yours so far.
  22. I agree. We want more, more, more !!!! We need are fix . We are having withdraw pains.
  23. Nice build of something not seen very often. The red wheels are a nice touch. They would be body colored normally. I would think.
  24. I agree with everyone else. That is a nice build.
