  1. I see a 62 Fairlane in one picture. What are you doing to it? Nice save on the chassis so far.
  2. Nice paint work. I will be looking to see the finish of this one. I wish they could find the molds for both of those and reissue them.
  3. Make you a couple of door struts for it . You know the type like they use on hatchback cars now days ? Some hoods have them also to hold them up. Just my take on it.
  4. Just one thing if you build it Tom? Please put a Ford motor in it . With the 5.0 motors out there now there is no reason for Chevy motors in Fords. That practice is just so out of date too Me. I have tick off a lot of owners at car shows telling the them they have a nice Ford body and they ruined it with a Chevy motor.
  5. Sorry to hear you hit a wall with this one. That happens to all of us at one time or another. I have way too many of them . I just plug along on each one a little at a time. Always good to step back from one for awhile and get a new perspective on it.
  6. Pretty nice looking outfit .
  7. You did great at making it look like your sons. Nice work on the engine and chassis details.
  8. I guess it would be my 79 Ford pickup. I scratch built the extended cab part on it and changed the gas tank lids too the square type and painted it with the same paint as the real one. Next would be when I found an 62 Fairlane model already painted the same color as my real one . That was my first car, it had a six cyl. with automatic in it. I had looked for years for a 62 and could not believe it was painted inside and out the same as my real one.
  9. I agree with everyone else that is one beautiful Mustang. Love the color, it looks like a 67 color one of my favorite colors.
  10. First of all how much would you be using the car, everyday or once in awhile as a toy? I would look at how much regular maintenance would cost for each one. How much is insurance is for each one? Like you said you do not really know the maintenance record of the Porsche . I Myself would not have either one but that's just Me. Good Luck
  11. I agree that is one nice truck
  12. That is one beautiful Shellby. That black paint looks perfect . Nice work .
  13. That is really out there. Way cool. Beautiful body work and smooth paint work.
  14. Just wondering why you did not want it anymore? I watch the show but I think they over inflate the price of those cars way to much.
  15. Why not do it they are yours. Lets see some of them.
  16. Man when I was 20 I was in the Air Force . Was my first full year in with three to go. I was drafted in the Army but chose to go in the Air Force instead . I had some great times in there. Do what we did party on and let the good times roll. Happy Birthday Happy Birthday. Now lets see some progress on that Cad Limousine .
  17. You have some really nice looking trucks . Do you have more pictures of them?
  18. Now that is just plain cool. I have seen a few of this type of paint jobs and always liked them. Will be looking forward to seeing it finished.
  19. Just think of the time and money that went in to that ugly duckling. I don't think it will ever be a Swan though.
  20. Get him a KC- 135 model. I worked on the EC-135's and the KC 135's back in the day. I loved those planes. I think he would get a kick out of building his plane. I have one I need to build one day.
  21. I am sorry to hear you were let go . Six months you should have knew you would be one of the first to go. I have been in your shoes before on that . I wish you the best of luck.
  22. I build because it gives Me a creative outlet. I can build something anyway I want. There are no rules to Me how something should be built. All of My models are put together so they are easy to take a part so I can redo them if I want. I have learned a lot from this form . I use to love to work on real Mustangs as I have owned so many of them. Today the cost is just too much for Me to do so.
  23. I'll be watching this one to see what you end up with.
  24. I have the yellow version of that one. Your detail work really brought yours to life. Nice to see you back.
  25. I like this one as well as the first one you built. I know what too do with the junk Jeep bodies I have.
