  1. What is the definition of a truck? A pickup is not a car. A Truck is a truck. Quit being a snob about it. You can not play in my sandbox because my truck is bigger than yours. What a bunch of silliness.
  2. We have a ask Model Cars a Question section . Yet you see people asking questions in the General section all the time for what ever purpose. What about those questions? How many people look at the Ask a question section? Is it not used enough? Could that be reason people use the General section?
  3. I agree a very well done truck. Old trucks just have a character about them. You have done it justice.
  4. Nice work on a not often seen model. The bike looks great also.
  5. You have done a nice job on that one.
  6. Always nice to see a station wagon being built. Not many of them around. Looks like you are off to a good start.
  7. That is one thing Ford never worried about interchangeable parts between their engines. They love to change things. That is one reason Chevy engines are so popular ease of parts interchange over the years.
  8. Could you please have you postman speak to mine?
  9. I for got to mention that you should always check the date code on the tires. Tires can look brand new but are not always so. They can lay around for years. You would not know until you check the date code. You would not believe how many people will buy new tires and then junk a car truck with them on it.
  10. You can not run a directional tire in the wrong direction. Now when you get into regular radial tires you can. I do not know where CAL got his information? I am a cheap skate when it comes to buying new tires. I by used radial tires all the time and it does not matter which direction they are installed. I never had a problem with the direction they were installed on the car. If what he said were true every radial tire would have to be marked as to how it was installed when new.
  11. I have not seen one of those for awhile. Nice body work.
  12. What do you have in mined for the rear? I see you filled it in. Looking good.
  13. Sounds like it was your fault? Was it? What happened to the folks that hit you? How are they doing?
  14. Nice paint work. looks nice. I like your idea of a slammer.
  15. Nice work on the scratch built body. Nicely done model.
  16. Sounds like a nice color choice. I always liked these Ranchero's.
  17. Not everybody uses bare metal foil here. Not every ones models are perfect here either. No one here is going to put your models down or make fun of them. They will help you any way they can. Do not let that keep you from posting pictures. People here learn some thing from every picture on here. That is what it is all about. So post away.
  18. Great looking Sammy you got there. There has been a lot real ones turning up for sale around here. From mud runners to stock. Tough little vehicles.
  19. This thread just gets better all the time.
  20. I see were you are coming from Mike S.. That's the main thing it makes you happy. Nice build just the same.
  21. You have some nice detail work on the chassis. How about doing one thing to the chassis? Sand the date and letters at the back brake line junction box off. It would look much better with out them.
  22. I have to agree very nice detailing work on this . Keep the pictures coming.
  23. A restored car is just a copy of an original. They will never be the same as an original car. A restifyed {if that's a word }car can be way more fun than any original car. The new after market bodies out there today just show how hard it is to find a good body to do either one with. Do what you can afford to do and have fun.
  24. Junkman you you really have some unusual kits. All of you have some nice kits. I knew this thread would be a good one.
