Who is this guy and why does he get away with out posting his name or anything else about him? Do we have rules or not? With him I say he is above the rules of this board. Please tell us why he is allowed to keep posting.

I can not remember the last time I have seen a Vega in real life. Where I live you see Pinto's with V8's in them all the time.I check Graigslist all the time and have only seen one Vega for sale not so for the Pinto you see them pretty often.I think it has something to do with the Vegas rusting out so bad here.

MPC did a much better kit both of them.

Yes it looked like the first one only with both steering wheels.

My stepsister drove a Drivers ED car from New Jersey home to Ohio with two steering wheels in it. The steering wheels were connected with a gear on each column and chain running between them. Plus a brake pedal on the passenger side.This was in the early 80's .

I put that front clip on a Revel Impala .I have been working on mine for a year or so . Yours is the only other one I have seen. I will be watching to see how yours takes shape.

Why did it happen at all?

When you basically build the same car or truck with a few changes for 5 to 10 years? Why should it cost that much for safety features in said vehicle? The engineering and tooling cost should be taken out of the price of said vehicles. That only leaves maintenance cost of said tooling after the first year of sales.When you buy a new vehicle on these 5 to 10 year cycles are you really buying an new vehicle ?

No one would dare bring out a new pickup kit. Just ask the experts on this form. They just would not sell enough to cover the cost to make the molds or any other reason they can think of..I have heard it all on this form from many people.

Don"t sweat it. You sold it for $200.00 shows someone liked it well enough. Rust buckets are just a fad that will go away in time. Your style of build will never go away.

I would think the whole transmission cross member between the subframes would be removeable on a real one. Plus that would make it much easier to build the model while checking the fit of the engine and transmission. I look forward to more of your build.

If I remember correct they did have some contest where you did have to send the model into them to be judged. More than one were open up and found in pieces.

Ohio state income tax forms require you to pay sales tax if you purchase from out of state or in state. How many other states have this on thier tax forms I wonder?

Go outside in your bare feet on a hot day with that pea gravel and walk around. You will know what your new dog feels like when it walks on it. You would not like it he or she will not either.Put some grass and a dog house in now. They need shade and something soft to walk on. You never know how long you may have to leave your dog in the pen. Things happen that you can not control. Do not start off treating it like a junkyard dog.That is just like what your pen looks like.

Why should he take such a loss? I would tell them go buy me one just like it or as close to it as they can.He could not buy another one in that shape for that little of a price.

He would be a fool to take that little bit for the truck.
