The technology from the era this kit was made, shows up or rears its ugly head. Great subject, with your skills it will look nice. -

Bummer. I was hoping to see this done with your magic touch. A friend has a 67 c10 that has a chopped roof, suicide doors, the hood opens to the front and he has a 70 chevelle hood scoop/bump molded in. He has owned it for 40 years I believe. Still not done, but he does have it home now. -
Ever go on a Road Trip in a Classic Car?

Here is the 55 Foord bus after the tool boxes were removed form the back. This was after dad purchased the 1968. -
The inline 6 is a good idea and looks nice. The work you did on roof is a labor of love or inanity just not sure of the label. Sure looks great. Can't wait for more.

Ever go on a Road Trip in a Classic Car?
1930fordpickup replied to Falcon Ranchero's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
In the mid 70s our family camper was a 1955 Superior Coach Ford bus. Dad converted it over to a camper. We used that until a nicer 1968 Ford Bus came along. That was in the 80s. Still not classics but the 55 was closest to that. Both buses stayed in Mi, Oh and In while we had them. Almost forgot the 1968 went a few hundred Miles in Canada.a few times. -

Went form the first Exit in Michigan to Daytona beach in a white 1966 Cadillac Herse. That was 1987 and 1988. Great ride have a picture of it on the beach someplace. It was a buddys car he sold it to someone in Wisconsin years ago. -
Stuffing a turkey with jalapeños before frying?

I think Bill has it right with putting pepper slices under the skin. Plenty of places around the top and bottom of the bird. Just another safety notice about this. The pot of hot oil is a magnet for kids as soon as it gets hot while cooking and until it is time to clean it up. Not sure why -

Nice work on this. Looks the part. -
It would be if i didnt have 2 of the street machine kits with the drop axle. Sorry i didnt have what you were looking for. I did take a good look at the big droop axle and you should be able to take some drop out of the axle. Just becareful where you cut it at. I would trace it on card stock first to figure it out.

This is a good thing.

I will take a look after work tonight.

It will cost you 100 to 200 bucks and they can get you the right key. Not worth the hastle of 2 different keys like the old days. Also they may be able to get you a key that will just open the doors cheaper as it will not have a chip. In case you lock the keys inside.

Well that clears up why I am seeing the Indian chief and Buck Rodgers ? In Toledo. Might not be Buck Rodger but one of the space guys from the 60s. -

The only sript they could use and afford to shoot would all be in the front offices of the teams. Unless they came up with 32 sponsors for 3 or 4 races to film with. Drivers will want to paid a truck load of money and so will the crew. The France family have a few good Scripts every year. -

A friend's step mother never cleaned out her late parents house. When she passed they had to use pry bars to remove a few of the canned goods on the shelf. They were guessing some had been there sense the late 70s. After they cleaned out the place, I found out that my nieces science teacher would take old food to look at for research. -

Back in fhe 80s the gas station I worked at started carring food. My boss would buy food from a guy in a truck to make better profit. Turned out it was candy bars that were past the best by code. The codes you could not read the real dates. Lol The rep found the old candy in our store and gave my boss a good reasonable speech about fresh food sales being better on his bottom line. Turns out they were stolen from a shipment headed over seas as they were used to not having fresh candy. -
The wheels were not what I was thinking but they look great. I like the satin top with the cleared body. Another nice model from your work bench.

Thanks for that info. We road 3 wheelers in the old strip mine at Perry State Forest. Road for 2 days and only repeated trails we liked. That is a large area to rides also. This was in summer of 1985. .

Is that by Perry State forest?
