  1. Some things do come apart after they have been in the purple pond. I do believe it is form the parts being painted before gluing.
  2. Tim this car is looking good after all these years. No it is not perfect , but for a 50 year old car that has not been well cared for, not to shabby . I was at the Detroit Autorama in 2012 . Most people just walked past her. My brother and I stopped dead in our tracks.
  3. Nice looking Ranchero .
  4. With the pinstripes and rub through on the hood and deck lid I would say it was old school / traditional ride. The lights were added later in life after is what I think . Still a cool ride just the way it is .
  5. I did this at work while the boss watched . He laughed hard. LOL
  6. I have heard that from a very lovely lady at his both . I have talked to him a few times at shows . A great guy , just wonder if he has a book out yet? Better yet Ed write the movie script.
  7. Steve, having Gene Winfield pick up your car and look it over is better than any prize.
  8. Looks nice . I have always wondered how this kit went together .
  9. Rob I think it is the front of this car . The head lights are covered and you see now marker lights or turn signals . I like the rest of it . I would like to see the front bumper tucked in 2 mm or so. Put some thin red pinstripes(same as the wheels) along the body line from front to back and on the hood along the bulge line .The grill needs something , red color or some flash of silver. These are just my likes and not your likes .
  10. It looks like you have a nice place to build.
  11. Well, why did the person let someone do it if you were going to do it? Next time do not offer.
  12. Nice little buggy . Kermit would love this color.
  13. 144, six in 1960 . 144 or 170 in 1961 The Falcon got it's first V8 in 1962 , 221 or a 260 while also having the 144 and 170 . 260, 289 V8 then 144,170,200 six 1963. 260,289 V8 then 170,200 six 1964. These are Falcon engines but the Rancheros was close but had the bigger engine most of the time.
  14. This is a Ford from the 60's that has had a section put in the middle to make into a cabover. It even has the grill from the pickup .
