Great start to a nice style .

Around 76 or 77 a local guy had a 4x4 ElCamino . It was lifted with bigger tires . I was 10 and thought it was cool. Looking around my brothers stash I found a 56 Chevy with the opening doors and the light bulb came on. Jacked that thing up and put the biggest truck tires we had in the stash on it. Sprue was used for the lift , no springs . I thought it was cool. LOL

That looks killer . Just wondering if his Comet has an Edsel title ? Some of the early ones do.

It is a good looking model car , put it on the shelf for display . Sure it is not a Cobra, but they all can not be that lucky .

The Pattern Makers need all the prints with good dimensions to produce good parts . Yes I have been there and done that . We would make our wooden models and than the customer would eye it up for the big OK . If it passed we would make the blow molds . Not the same as an Injection mold but to get to the point of the mold it is close to the same steps.

The Maverick Grabber with a 302 and a three speed on the floor was fun.

If they would not pay say 20 bucks to be on here why would they spend thousands to start their own ? Just wondering.

These kits are cheaper than the popular stuff , that happens to be vintage. With the 20 dollar price of a new kit these 10 dollar wonders just doubled in price.

Well said Harry . From what I have been told about the bigger Magazines is that adds pay for it . Our subscription is only extra money for the magazine. That is why you can get bigger Magazines (hot rod,playboy)for a dollar an issue or so.

Burt ask as many questions as you wish. Better to ask a question than have to rebuild something .

They were filming with the new truck in Michigan late June early July.
