  1. Storage and more storage. Keeps things neat . This explains my problem, I am not neat.
  2. Looks good . One on the shelf , time for the next one.
  3. This is good to hear Kevin . At least somebody that works there cares. Yes anyone can have a bad day.
  4. I am just tired of waiting Harry . After seeing 3D printing back in 96 I have been waiting, pacing the floor waiting.
  5. I am just wondering how long of a timetable are we thinking about. I have used 3D models in 1996 at work. No we did not print them our customer had them printed for us to paint. The place that printed them was an Injection molding plant. At my former job in 1991 one of the CNC operators used the Renshaw prob (just as in Bill's video) to trace a tie tack pin and make a belt buckle after he scaled it up. It was not new tech then. We have not been talking about any new technology . Yes it is getting better . Just wondering how much longer we will be waiting. I am looking forward to the day.
  6. Sweet , even better with the skirts.
  7. Harry this is going to be so cool when the technology hits its stride. The cost is the big holdup. Over 15 years in and it is still pricey.
  8. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when I see an old kit turned into a great Model.
  9. Harry you hit the nail on the head. The one thing you left out though was the fact that they will sell less downloads than they do kits. We will no longer need a stash of kits for parts , or the fear they will never release the kit again.
  10. Looks great . Leave the screws ,that is what makes this model better. Removing the screws is like a guy using hair dye.
  11. Three cheers for start of something good . It will be years for this to pay off but well worth the gamble. This will press the others at going forward. I am sure they are all looking and have been looking at this as an option.
  12. Purple power will clean it off. just be careful how long you let sit on the rims( it will eat the coating off ). Dunk the brush in the cleaner would be best . Do a small spots at a time with good rinsing of the rims.
  13. Nice, all the way around !
  14. Nice Monty .
  15. Most of us would have just pitched it. You Sir made a piece of art. Nice work!
  16. Expected Delivery By: May 28, 2013 USPS Tracking / Delivery Confirmation™ This is what it says in the right hand column . The column on the left say delivered 12:38 yesterday. Did they work yesterday?
  17. Nice work Harry.
  18. This is some good work.
  19. Nice car , full of curves.
  20. 1970 Torino Cobra . 429 SCJ with drag pac, The car was rough with only the intake and carb replaced (last owner had it sitting on a shelf) . Not enough money to fix the car so i passed . Been kicking myself for years, How much would storage have been ? This car I am not sure it counts. It was a 1936 Ford two door hump back . Sitting in storage for years and had to be moved . Being tired of wild goose chases I did not go look at the car. The guy selling the car told my brother ,the first guy that looked at the car gave him the full asking price. Did not even offer one dollar less. My brother has been rubbing this in for a few years.
  21. You look like you are headed in the right direction Rob. The sheet metal screws ( less threads per inch ) makes for a better looking spring than a normal screw would.
  22. That is a cool car. It is nice to see one that a hacker has not chopped up( not that they make bad looking drag cars ) . I used to drive by the old Toledo plant weekly until they tore it down a few years back. One of the smoke stacks was left standing.
