  7. Angelo Valenti is not just an Oldsmobile fan Casey he built protype G Body cars for Oldsmobile . Does this mean this is true good question , but if you wanted to measure a correct G body cutlass he would have one.

  14. Thank you Tom for the photo's . They are better than anything I could type . One day i will figure the uploading of photo's on here. Those are some nice Photo's of the stock truck.
  15. The kit grill is not a 40 grill from all the picture I have found of a 1940 Willy's . It is a grill that race car drivers used ,It has no center bar . The wings as you call them should not be peaked as they are in the kit. They should be more like the Revell coupe kit. They had a flat head four just like the jeep's from the war. That should be close enough . Just call your truck a 1941 and use the kit grill. Put the Wipers on the bottom.
  16. 40 Willy's have a two piece grill with a bar in the center being body color. The wipers are on the top of the windshield. 41 Willy's have a one piece grill and the wipers are on the bottom of the windshield . I just looked for 40 Willy's on the web. Hard to find a stock one to look at.
  17. I was at a show in Detroit a few years ago and two guys were standing by their 37-39 Willy's Pickup . To get to the point they said that the two front fender's were from two different plants on the truck (I do not know how they new this for sure ) . They said the head lights did not match from one side to the other , Welded in two different positions. Just found a picture of a stock 41 and the grill is one piece . The top of the fenders are just like the Revell fenders ( rounded not peaked ). As far as the wipers go the hood is up in the picture .But I did not see a wiper up at the top right corner .
  18. Casey thank you for posting the Link ! It was a good listen.
  19. If it is tall enough ,the tin could used to transport models to the next show. Just add a little padding.
  20. Great job .
  21. That is a great question Doobie . The grill must be one of the things. LOL
  22. There was a four door with an extended cab behind the second door running around Monroe MI for a few years . Have not seen it lately , it was also had the Centurion tag on the cab.
  23. Well said William ! The re-take looks great in British Racing Green .
