  1. It looks to me like the air hole and the pour hole are to close together. Shouldn't they be opposite corners ?
  2. This is cool ! To me this is a rat rod , just a very good one.
  3. Very good work all around . This guy is awesome.
  4. Looks fast !
  5. You are off to a good start . Just follow the above advise.
  6. Very nice sir .
  7. First the tractor pull part is pure Sarcasm. Second what they are up to is not about a green monster truck. Third when this thing goes viral with a video it will bring people calling to them for their product. Free advertising .
  8. Looks great !!!!
  9. Sure it is a gimmick but they can use it for R&D and for a sales pitch. Not for the Monster truck but it has other uses . I think it is just a test Mule for the battery company. Will they show up at a Tractor Pull next ! Oh the Horror !!!!! LOL
  10. Thank you for the info Pete . I like your line of thinking with your decision , Nothing better than being able to directly plug in.
  11. I sanded and painted rapid prototype parts in 1997 folks . Yes they were related to the job I have , not hobby related . Some were sample parts some were patterns for castings . It is not new just getting cheaper , the parts I purchased from TDR Innovations are much better than the parts from work . Just remember the parts from work were from over 11 years ago. I feel that niteowl7710 has a good feel for what is going to happen.
  12. Just an R&D thing to me . To show the military they can power something that is that heavy with battery's .
  13. I picked one up last year . It is very nice . No I have not started it yet. LOL
  14. How many big trucks have been produced from the 50's ? Just maybe they are going to do a 50 something Ford with a box that was used in the fifties . The box art is strange but it all has to start from someplace.
  15. I have worked with models made from rapid prototype before . This was in 1997 to 2000 before they started doing their own painting . This was a very rough finish back then for a model car. It was like wood grain. Two years ago I held in my hand at the Toledo NNL parts from a newer machine, vastly improved product. I think that Bill is hitting close to home with his comments . The only Question is if it cost 30 shipped for a bare shell what will it cost for the rest of the parts? I think that the after market will change but the kit company's will start using this tech here and just send you what you ask for themselves. I am sure they have been looking into this for sometime . The tool shop's around here have been into this for year's .
  16. I thought that I have seen this before. The box says 1/25 as I grumble ! LOL
  17. And I thought that the stands were from a die cast garage parts package . LOL
  18. Very nice work Sir !!
  19. It looks like that the C-600 is 1/25 scale ! This will lead to many different versions of this box truck. Farm trucks with a flat bed ,stake beds, grain trucks .
  20. There was a large scale Manta Ray at the Detroit Auto Rama this past year and a guy there for autographs . Do not care for the car so we walked by while looking at the car a bit. it looked like it was a rapid prototype model.
