  3. And yet another build from my past. This is a1955 Chevy truck that I cut the top off, and replaced it with the window frame from a 53 Corvette. Also used from the Corvette kit were the head lights and grille. Front bumper molded to cab. The firewall, door jambs, and fender wells were scratch built. The bed was built by using the Corvette rear fenders molded to the 55 truck bed. The Corvette front lower pan is now used for a rear valance. The interior is from the Corvette kit modified to fit cab. Chassis is from the Boyds Smoothster with motor and transmission mounts added. Motor is from the Tamiya Mercedes 500 SL. Thanks for looking.

  5. Here is another older build of mine. This is the Oldsmobile F-88 concept car. Took the 53 Corvette body and added a 57 corvette front end. Grille is a narrowed 58 T-bird. All wheel arches have been reshaped. Extended rear fenders and tail light housing, with tail lights made from red sprue. Relocated gas filler. Scratch built side trim and rear bumper. Most of the interior is scratch built. Engine is from the 66 Olds 442 with a scratch built air cleaner..

  7. Here is another older build. It is a 62 Thunderbird converted into a wagon. I used the custom top from the 65 Lincoln kit and filled in the entire center section with sheet plastic. I opened the door and built door jambs. Scratch built rear hatch, and inner fenders. Hood was made using both the stock hood and the hood from the Mustang Super Stallion. Front suspension from the Mustang was grafted to the Thunderbird frame. The engine and wheels are also from the Mustang kit. The complete interior is from the Mustang modified to fit the Thunderbird. Paint is Centari Medium Willow Pearl Mettalic base coat/clear coat.

  9. This is another older build. I molded in the top of a mid 90's Camaro including top of the doors so I could have the rear view mirrors from the Camaro. Reshaped the hood to fit. Front and rear bumper molded in. Added some screen to the front grille opening. Made some red lenses to cover tail lights. Head lights were scratch built. The interior is a modified Camaro, including door panels. The chassis is built from sheet plastic and the front and rear suspensions from a nascar Thunderbird .Scratch built tubs and inner fenders. The engine is a flathead V-16. I took the Flathead from the 1935 Mercedes 500-k and resin casted it. I casted two then split them to make the V-16. Also scratch built most of the engine accessories including the intake, and breather. Paint is HOK silver base with Tamiya Mica Blue.

  15. More 58 pictures..
  16. Here are a couple of older builds. I decided to post them together since they were built about the same time, and I had dozen of Corvette kits to pick parts from. LOL. First up is a 1958 Chevy. First off I dissected the Impala and the C5 Corvette bodies, then I grafted the front and back halves to the C5 center section. Used the custom front from the 58 and added the Chezoom grille bar to this. Front wheel opening were reshaped. I had to widen the rear section of the 58 to fit the Corvette chassis .Lower section of the Corvette was then added to it. I also added the hood blister to the 58 hood. Interior is from the corvette. added seat belts made from ribbon. Chassis is from the Corvette. I had to extend the chassis behind the rear wheels using parts from the vette and the impala. Paint is Duplicolor Autumn Maple Metallic. Next up Is a 59 Impala. This one I had to shorten the impala body to fit a C6 chassis. Then added the corvette roof section. I added some inner hood bracing and a hood blister. Modified the rear valance for the corvette exhaust. Corvette interior modified to fit. Chassis and drivetrain are from the corvette, and again I had to extend chassis behind the rear wheels. Inner fenders are scratch built. Paint is Duplicolor Orange Mist. I am sure I am forgetting some details on these builds, So I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for looking..
