  1. I also made an ignition, head light and wiper switch knobs from plastic tubing. Made a new shifter and made some seat adjuster handles. I will have to make the adjuster handles a little bit smaller. Also made a new turn signal handle and spotlight handles. So now the interiors mods are complete except for color.
  2. Did some more work on the interior. I drilled out the dash for the gauges, headlight switch, and an ignition. There was too much room behind the seats so I made a panel from the original tonneau cover and then I added some round strips for piping.
  3. I think I got it.
  4. Not too far from me. We got about 8 - 10 inches with a possibility of a couple more this weekend.

  10. ok its either a real model or a model of a real car, that should just about cover it.
  11. Hey guys I have been looking at the original art work, if you look at the purple one it kinda looks like it fades to white on the bottom. What do you think of painting this build similar to the picture. It looks like an easy fade.
  12. Thanks Mike for your comment. Guaranteed you could build anything you want.

  21. Just wondering if any one knows a good source for candy paints that will work on plastic besides House of Kolor. Thanks in advance.
  22. I agree with erik on the cowl type hood, like the hoods off the 70-72 Chevelle SS
  23. I have also been trying my luck at a faded paint job. These are not the colors I will be using but just an idea of what I want to do with the paint on this build. My plan on the paint job is something similar to one of these cars.
  24. Well its been awhile since I had any updates on this build, but I am hoping to get some work done on this now. I don't have a lot to update, but I did do some work to the interior door panels. I removed all the molded in window cranks and arm rest. Added parts box pieces to replace them. I also made some power window switches.
