  1. Hey Psychographic I built a coupe out of the Futura years ago but I used the top, chassis and engine from a Studebaker. I used a 53 corvette for the interior. Mine looks old school compared to your more modern custom look. Here is a couple of pictures of it.. And before anyone says anything I know its not in primer. LOL
  2. Now this is my kinda build, cool and different, I may have to build one. What color are you going to paint this. Black?
  3. Nice color. looks like a 70's custom paint job. oh yeah and the rest of the build looks killer also. keep up the crazy work. Is the effects paint lacquer or enamel?
  4. Mustang is looking good Doc. cant wait to see some paint on this.
  5. Anyway we can see a couple of different angles on this build. Thanks in advance
  6. I have the kit of this...
  7. Manufactured in India!!!! no wonder I could not find it.
  8. Hey everyone!, which one of these should I use to hold the ignition coil. 1. Hole drilled into fender apron. Looks modern custom? 2. Coil mounted to firewall with bracket. looks old school custom?
  9. Thanks for your comment Mike. But I am beginning to think I will never get it done.
  10. Thanks David, I think I got too much going on with this. Its taking me forever to get this build done. Thanks cobraman
  11. And last but not least I made a tonneau cover strut from brass rod and tubing. Thanks for looking and as always comments are welcome good or bad.
  12. Here is a few pictures of it together. Now most of the engine is complete except for the fuel lines and throttle linkage, but that can be completed after engine is put together, now I just got to figure out what color. I also modified the firewall for wiring harness, throttle cable exit and rounded the center for distributor clearance.
  13. Also had to modify the exhaust some, the exhaust dump on the passenger side came straight down on the starter, so I moved them back on both sides for clearance. You will also notice in the picture that I made a fuel pump and added a parts box starter to the engine and also drilled holes for the spark plugs. Original New Exhaust
  14. A little bit of an update. Of course nothing ever goes as planned as far as most of my builds are concerned. When I did the alternator brackets and such I forgot to take in mind that the steering box and shaft would not be in the way. WRONG. So I had to move the alternator to the passenger side. Had to make new brackets because the olds ones broke when I tried to take them apart. Anyway here are the pictures. Here is the old bracket And the new one Steering box and shaft.
  15. Thanks James2 Thanks for your comment gray07
  16. Hey Lunajammer cars looking sweet, keep up the good work.
  17. This is pretty cool.
  18. I also made a new fan shroud by cutting out a center of a wheel and some plastic stock.
  19. Next I took the original modified radiator and cut the ends off and glued them into the engine bay. I then added some flanges and a new fill hole to the radiator. Here is the original radiator And the modified one This is where I added the sides
  20. Did get some more done on this. Made some engine pullies out of parts of the el camino and some round stock. chucked them into my dremel to round them out and cut a groove for the belt. made alternator brackets.
  21. Ive seen this ugly thing before but don't remember where. This seems to happen when you get older.
  22. Has anyone tried the Candy Spaz Stix. spray paint, like the one below. If so can you post results. Thanks
  23. Here it is all together (sort of, don't mind the headrest).
