  1. Can't remember who produced it but a 67 Camaro has a nice small block in it. Might be AMT.
  2. http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e370/lor...=HongQirear.jpg rear This one was fun, because of its weirdness. Still, alot of mods to make it appear like the real thing. Used 1/20th scale S10 suspension, Otaki Ford engine with "FORD" removed from valve covers. Holes in frame filled with sheet styrene. Tamiya Paint. This is Trumpeter's very first car kit, the Hong Qi CA770 Limousine.
  3. I know that , I was being funny. My humor sucks.
  4. Of course, send thru USPS or Canada Post. No worries, no problems. I sent Steve stuff and he sent me stuff and we had no trouble. I just bought a model from an outfit in BC and they sent it thru USPS, but I think they crossed the border to Washington to do it.
  5. Wow! Never thought of this idea. I like Buicks as well. Hmmm, what would we call such a Buick? Roadmaster? Invicta? I could see a 69 Camaro based Buick with a split horizintally grille to resemble the Skylark of the day. It would have to have quad headlights, ventiports optional.
  6. Gee, thought that said "London Wisconsin" on that ad. There is such a town here, also a New London.
  7. One thing you could do is strip the paint and do it again. Use Super Clean or brake fluid to strip. It won't hurt the plastic.
  8. Sorry, it's not gangsta he's talking. It's good ole southern boy. He types how he talks...and he's got degrees up the wazoo, or should I say Anal Orifice? Isn't saying "That's gay" kinda Junior High?
  9. Rutt roh!
  10. Doncha gotta put yer full name in yer siggy thingy? Welcome anyway, dude.
  11. Maybe not, but it does make you warmer!
  12. Hmmm, The ZZR Spy car would be one of my grails, fat chance we'll ever see that one reproduced. It was changed into some kind of fire fighter rod. Of course I now have to put that Midori V-dub fastback slotcar on the list as well, and the Volvo PS1800 that Mrobsessive speaks of. I would also like to find the Toyota-7 that Otaki produced (I have the Paramount/Eidai kit) to join shelf space with the Nissan R382 I just got off of the "bay". And all of the Renwal 66 Revival kits. I know Revell has the tooling for these, c'mon Revell, howsa bout a reissue of these?
  13. Bad boys bad boys watcha gonna do, when sheriff Jairus comes for you.
  14. i didn't think it was all that difficult to post to Canada. I've never had any trouble, it was quick either way and not that costly. Now, Australia...that's a whole 'nuther animal.
  15. Hey Mike, nice to see you here. You guys ever get to the Milwaukee area, check out Mike's Pastimes Hobby Shop. It's small but nice and they got models, supplies, books for research. Also slot car stuff.
  16. as I said before , Welcome to the site. We need more Wisconsinites here. LOL. Jairus, the Dells is the waterpark capitol of the world and has always been a vacation destination "up north" for us Wisconsinites and FIBs (Friendly Illinois Buddies). Had a cabin near there for many years.
  17. Cool pics. Was that at Automation at Noah's Ark? Haven't been to that show for awhile as I have to DJ a carshow in Milwaukee that weekend. Bummer. Sure love the Dells, I had a cabin on the Wisconsin River some years back near Portage.
  18. when you said spudsville, I thought you meant Stevens Point Wisconsin. They have potatoes in Idaho? Didn't know that. Anyway, welcome to the site.
  19. I like trains as well. Got some stashed away for when I got the room to put them up. Welcome to the site.
  20. ...it's got twelve cylinders and uses 'em all...Hot Rod Lincoln, original lyrics.
  21. That is very nice box art. Looking forward to getting it, too.
  22. Birdcage birdcage birdcage birdcage birdcage birdcage birdcage birdcage pleeeeez
  23. I think the car is a Rolls Royce in the second pic.
  24. OK, I gotta ask, are those wheels from the kit or are they aftermarket? Where can I get them? On either Fowler's or Geary's car.
