  1. My kit box was bunged up as well, but the precious plastic inside was unscathed.
  2. I got me a 2004 GTO kit for three bucks at the Farm and Fleet (don't ask) and the GF got me a sealed Ghostrider Vette from a flea market .
  3. Welcome to the site. Great buncha people here. Lots to learn, too.
  4. I emphatically say "real".
  5. It would be much better to find the Monogram version of the Cord. Better detail all around and I seem to recall the kit is a convertible coupe. Florida boy, after talking with an old guy who restored Cords, and the derived from Cord Graham and Huppmobiles, the fenders on the real cars don't fit well either. In fact, the assembly line procedure was to use a length of 2X4 and force the fender in place as another workman tightens the bolts.
  6. I have a HHR Panel, a 2007 Imperial Blue one. I love it. I like the FJ as well, but chose my North American made HHR.
  7. Thanks for the reply, can't wait to see that RTS. Beautiful painting.
  8. But you enjoy it so much, Tom.
  9. Welcome to the site. I really like mainstreamers myself. I like the gun toting kitteh in your av, and do tell us about the pic seen in your profile. Is that painting you or just something you like or did?
  10. Welcome to this place Mkowa. Good to see you here.
  11. Please please please please please please please please do it. Oh, did I remember to say please?
  12. That was a great color on those Fords. Uh, let's break it in right and take it huntin'. I can just see a "turdy point buck" in the back of that.
  13. http://www.championautomotive.net/pontiacs/77579418_11.jpg Here's another.
  14. http://www.oldride.com/library/1962_pontiac_catalina.html Get this link and scroll down to view two colors from an actual brochure.
  15. I like the idea of the original posts first, but I have seen some forums that take you to the next post after your last read. I like that. That is like having a book mark.
  16. I'm using "lordairgtar". Ya'll got a Gregg there already.
  17. the walmart in Burlington Wisconsin had no selection at all, maybe 5 kits, all Donks. When I went to the WM in Mukwanago, it was like walking into a small hobby shop, tons of kits, HOK paints and the illusive Revell Merc. I did not get it but i did walk away with the Lindberg L700-trailer-40 Ford Combo for $24.95. I couldn't pass that up. Not sure what to make of that Ford. Kinda like the AMT kit but something was not right, Palmer tooling maybe? Plus the Ford chrome had so much thick flashing around the bumpers. That tool had seen better days. The truck looked OK.
  18. That should be "how many Gregg's does it take to screw UP an avatar?" :D
  19. AWWWW, What a cute doggie
  20. White Fruit of the Loom? Were they boxers or tighty whiteys, perhaps made of a Nomex / cotton blend?
  21. I don't know how to do any of that. I stooopid!
  22. ...And I'll bet the guy with the XXL donut locker will say "Hey, I can still fit in my high school clothes." Seems his gun belt never let his fat get to his legs and butt...Yes I am a big guy as well and can say that, too.
  23. http://www.gcip.co.uk/ Here's a European supplier of plastics.
  24. http://www.tk560.com/vactable4.html Try this sight for the vacuform making. This one is large scale for star war geeks who make StormTrooper uniforms, but it's the technology you want to learn.
