  1. Moved the headlights just a little bit inboard, and added the small parking lamps.
  2. Good GAWD! I wouldn't mind having just 1% of that shelf space.
  3. The rollover wasn't planned- that was an accident. But it seemed like all the auto and truck manufacturers put on "thrill shows" like this to demonstrate their products from the late '40's onward.
  4. Who knew part of White Motor Company's engineering regimen was teaching cabovers how to breakdance? On a serious note, these are photographs from a White publicity event from 1949. And this just has to be one of the coolest photographs ever taken...
  5. Well... looks like my 1:16 Heller will sit around a little longer.
  6. Nice work on all of 'em. I especially like the pale green Merc.
  7. Call me a glutton for punishment Terry, but Road Boss #2 is on the docket for next year.
  8. I guess "quality over quantity" has its place, but it seems like I accomplish very little for all the projects I have going on at any given time. I've got a running start going for '15, assuming I don't trip and take a tumble between now and then.

  12. Finished a whopping TWO this year... ^This one will end up with WFE graphics, which I finally got around to ordering a couple of days ago. I also see now that I never put the turn signals on the fenders, so those will be added later. My short nose Diamond Reo might stand a chance at being finished this year, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  13. On my Aeromax, I used two sets of tires from Revell's 1:25 '97 F-150. I wanted spokes, so I used the ones from the Mack CF pumper.
  14. Snow > mud, which is all I've got up here after about 36 hours straight of rain. Those are May 25th conditions, not December 25th.
  15. ^THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!^ It can take a hike the other 363 days of the year, though, as far as I'm concerned.
  16. Today, I'm irked by the fact that it's Christmas Eve and there's not a single flake of snow on the ground. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are the only two days of the year when there SHOULD be a nice, thick blanket of snow on everything.
  17. If any airing of grievances was taking place, it was taking place inside, unfortunately.
  18. Yes indeedy, Bill! Ford was building coupe utilities in Australia as early as 1932. One of my all-time faves-
  19. That pickup in the first post looks interesting... and I have the 1:16 DS19 kit. Hmmmmmm....
