  1. Nice decal work!!! That's going to look fantastic when it's done!
  2. That was awesome. Lots of good footage in that vid.
  3. Glad to help! If you need any help/tips PM me.
  4. I've never spent so much time on an interior but I think the results are worth it. The floor mats add quite a bit to the look. I found them on E-bay. I've also used decals from Slixx and the photo-etched pieces are from Detail Master. Next up is painting the body panels. I also need to build/paint the batteries . It's coming along slowly but surely. Thanks for looking!
  5. Bandit Resins does that body. It's very nice and you can build a very nice model with it:
  6. Looks good to me! Love the white stripe separating the blue and silver!
  7. Well as cool as the Cougar was I just couldn't get into it. I'll still use this motor but it's going to go into a resin '63 Falcon: The standard '55 Sportsman floor pan would not fit. This Falcon is a tiny car. I needed tubs that weren't so tall. The ones in the '70 Superbee were what I needed. Sawed the two chassis in half and then glued them together. The sportsman chassis will even hide the seam! Now this is a project I can get into. Seeing as how I've done the '66 and now I'm doing a '63 I'll have to do a second gen Falcon at some point. As always thanks for looking!
  8. Tyrone, I love this build man. I learn so much watching your projects come together. Can't wait for the next update!
  9. Thanks guys for the encouragement. Chris, I'm not going to do the roof white. I'm thinking of doing the whole car Icy Blue with a darker blue stripe or stripes on the hood and trunk....just to give a hint of the Dobbertin car. Also I'm going to use the chrome Centerlines. I'll save the aluminum rims for my next project. Now that Fotki is back up I can show some more of my work on this...... Here are my scratch built sub frame connectors. One they are painted up they will get photo etched bolt heads: The floor is flocked and I'm starting on the interior. I'm using lots of components from the Hay T-bird. such as the amps, chute levers, seats and shifter: I'm pretty proud of how this engine is coming along. I added the alternator and water pump pulleys. Now I just have to run the belts...... As always, thanks for looking and your comments keep me building!!
  10. Thanks Mike, the paint is Testors One Shot Icy Blue Lacquer.
  11. Got a lot more done on this. The chassis pan is painted top and bottom. This shot shows the overall blue I'll be using on this: The engine is shaping up nicely as well. Not sure if I'll use this hat or a bigger one...... I also started roughing in the hole in the hood. Again I may go with a bigger hat....... I also got my sub frame connectors built. My next project is roughing in the door shells and jambs. Interior will be all black just like Dobbertins car. I'm going to add a simple hoop roll bar. No cage........a lot of cars from the 80's didn't even have a hoop! As always thanks for looking!
  12. That is gorgeous. I too love the color!
  13. That is coming along really nicely. Looking forward to seeing more!
