  1. That really looks awesome
  2. The first step was to figure out the mods. Here are a few: full bulkhead behind the pilot widen the fuselage add a door to the left side move the upper plexi bubble redo the rear gunners position redo the rear tail area convert the right engine to a jet. I started with this kit: I cut the door in the left side: I'll clean it up later. I then filled the hole for the bubble turret: And here's where I left off. I cut the top off a second plane to bulk up the rear fuselage. Next I will reconfigure the tail section to better match the original. I'll also mold in the new upper section and then start assembly. Thanks for looking!
  3. Even though this movie came out in 2011 I just saw it a few weeks ago. This plane is on the screen for maybe all of 2 minutes but it's just so cool. I had to build it. Here are a few screen shots: I also found this incredible plan view on the 'net. The artists name is on the print We'll get to work after the jump!
  4. This has so much awesome it's ridiculous! I love them both!
  5. LOVE this. I'm going to be following this one!
  6. Tyrone, I think this is my favorite build that you've done. It looks so stinking MEAN. Love the color and stance! That hood is wicked as well.
  7. Thank you so much guys!! This was a very challenging build but I learned a lot and am happy with the results. On to the next one!
  8. Thanks Guys! I had a lot of fun building this!
  9. I've always wanted to do a Rockford Files car but I couldn't get past the whitewall tires. Then I watched the pilot episode and he was driving a '74 with RWL tires. This was something I could build! Paint is Tamiya Gold. Hood is from Missing Link, tires are from AMT parts pack. Wheels are from an MPC '75 Ventura. Body, is by MPC. The engine is from the Revell '68 Firebird. Chassis and underhood area are from an AMT '70 Camaro. It's not perfect but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have to figure out how to hide the gap between the cowl and windshield. I also need to add mirrors and plates but I'm calling it done! Thanks for looking!!
  10. I had this week off so I decided to wrap up a few projects. This Nova was one of them. I put it all together and hated it. The stance was all wrong and the front tires stuck out too far: I was gonna chuck it back in the box but I thought I could fix it. I was right. The stance isn't perfect but I can live with it:
