  1. Ok, thanks. I wonder if that actually means acrylic as in Tamiya type acrylic, or acrylic lacquer, acrylic enamel, etc. How does it spray Michelle?
  2. Very nice. I l like the color and the way you mix and blend your colors. I am curious now about the EASTUP paint. Lacquer, enamel? Does it need an underbase? I found it on Amazon and they have some very cool colors.
  3. Very nice Five Seven. Beautiful paint, great stance, excellent detailing all around.
  4. Thank you Can-Con, LittleJoey, Bill and John. I appreciate the kind words.
  5. Very nice Mustang. It certainly isn't anything you did that causes the issues with the wheels and tires. All of this generation of AMT Mustangs have problems with wheels and tires. Your correction looks pretty darn good.
  6. Thank you so much David ?

  9. Thank you.
  10. I actually painted this kit some time ago, and it sat in it's box until this year. I started the build earlier this year, and completed it last month. It was airbrushed with House of Kolor Zenith Gold, and House of Kolor Bronze Pearl stripes. It was clear coated with House of Kolor Klear, then polished. All the paints are acrylic lacquers, and they spray very nicely once thinned with a quality lacquer thinner. For automotive paints like these, I use Dupont Slow thinner #3602S. The word "Slow" always throws people. It really doesn't dry much slower than regular lacquer thinner, it just doesn't flash off quite as quickly. I honestly can't recall where I got the wheels and tires, but I'm thinking maybe another Mustang kit, although I don't know which one since these were in my wheel and tire parts box without being labelled. I stripped the front and rear bumpers and painted them body color for a monochromatic look. Ignition wires and hoses were added as well. It wasn't a difficult build at all, everything fit well, except for the air cleaner and carb which interfered a little with the hood closing properly. Thanks for looking.

  21. I admire the skills it takes to create this kind of detail. I’ve never weathered a car I built but yours is exceptional. The addition of the snake is a nice touch.
