  1. Love that color combo and how you achieved it. High gloss and a very deep finish. Nothing like a street Hemi in the engine compartment. Well done.
  2. I really like this build. Very stealth-like with the black markings on dark grey.
  3. Very cool rod, nicely detailed, like the flattie too.
  4. Very well done. Both Chevelles. I do like the Willow Green with black vinyl roof. Excellent combination and the engine compartment is very realistic.
  5. Good job, a nice tribute to your Dad.
  6. Very well done Trans Am. Excellent color, outstanding details.
  7. Awesome is right. Outstanding weathering, very realistic, and the end result in white looks beautiful.
  8. Thank you.
  9. Jeff, I couldn't have said that better. Bravo!
  10. Excellent work, looks good in that blue.

    The "Trio"

Beautiful work on those Mustangs. Great color choice, excellent idea to build one of each, very well done.
  12. When arthritis took up residence in both hands, now I try for a nice paint job, maybe an engine swap, some cool wheels, and it's done and on the shelf. I'm enjoying the hobby more now by doing it that way. I agree about the lack of detail in older MPC kits.
  13. Donato, Bob, Chris, Samantha, Louis, Jeff, Mario and the folks who pressed the like button, thank you all very much.
  14. Excellent build. I like the body work too, looks factory to my eye. Grabber Orange looks great and the roof graphics are very cool.

    1957 T-Bird

I think you have a super Thunderbird. Great color, nice details.
  16. Very nice Mach 1 Doug. These pony cars always look good in red. Nicely detailed, and the Goodyear tires look perfect.
  17. Thanks Garry.
  18. Thanks for the ID on the engine. I wasn't sure where it came from.
  19. Very well done. Excellent color combo and superbly detailed interior in 1/32 scale no less.
  20. Very cool. The wood grain looks great, nice color, very well done.
  21. David, Marty, Jeremy, Alan, Mike, David, Larry, Tom and Harry thanks so much for the kind words. ?
  22. This was built a couple years ago as a simple, fun to mess around with kind of thing. Mostly a slump buster as it's a relatively simple kit. I was aware of it's shortcomings and there are plenty. Nonetheless, I had fun with it and it's a decent shelf model such as it is. I airbrushed it House of Kolor Teal Pearl with a few drops of blue added, over light grey primer, and House of Kolor Klear, polished out using wet 3200 through 12000 grit polishing cloths. The wheels and tires and disc brakes I think came from one of the AMT kits, possibly the 67 Impala, when they had their Rides Magazine series. The engine I found in my engine parts box but I have no idea what kit it came from. It looks like something close to a modern LT-1 engine without the top cover. The interior was simply Tamiya Pure White, with some self stick felt on the floor, and a little dry brushing on the dash. Not my best effort but the idea was to have some fun.
  23. Very nice Ford, great color, and the wheels look very good with it.
  24. Very nice wagon. I have one in progress, one day I'll finish it. I really like the color you chose.
  25. Received issue #223, upstate South Carolina, on March 18. Another outstanding issue, keep it up folks.
