Started with a Revell '08 SRT8 kit my Friend gave me to build his car, a AMT Promo donated it's wheels, Keith Mark's Stripes, turned out pretty good, he's happy, that's the important part! Real car is a '10, 5.7 Hemi, 6 Spd manual, Aftermarket 3" Exhaust, K&N cold air intake, and a chip.................it goes like stink and rides every so softly... I didn't bother modifying it to a Manual transmission.......... Nick

The Cassette Player with equalizer was the even more expensive option
-
Shush...............yes it is a Mix tape............It's not Separate Casey, its all one unit, it just happens to be that there is no room where the radio is for the Cassette Deck so GM put it in the closest available space. It's hardwired as one unit as well. I can take a better photo tomorrow. Nick

I Don't drink my coffee while I drive, I left the coffee shop (drank a mouthful on my walk out to my truck), then the idiot cut me off leaving me to mash the brakes at which point because I have a 21 year old half ton with nearly original everything Suspension It dove at which point the collapsible cup holder proceeded to make my coffee into a projectile. I Usually pick up a coffee and a tea on my way to work, one for me one for the co-worker, and maybe if I'm in the mood I'll grab a coffee on my way home from work, I never distract myself from driving by trying to multitask, I set the radio, and leave my food or beverage till I arrive at my destination. Guy who proceed to pull out in front of me as he saw me coming down the street in the inside lane...........pulled out so close I could see the whites of his eyes, good thing I just did the rear brakes in my truck, had to punch the pedal to the floor, luckily a local Police Cruiser was passing as this occurred and he hooked a 180 and went after the guy, had him pulled over a few miles down the road. Justice tastes pretty good. Nick However having to clean up my coffee I had just gotten off of my dash, seat, floor, headliner and windshield was a bit of a pain.

Meet the Fire-Am.....................Took a bagged kit I bought at a show, emptied the contents, ditched half of it, and started digging for other parts. What I kept What went back in the Trans am drawer Needs to be lower, and meaner. It's a Rough kit, but I'll do what I can to fix it as I go, wasn't worried about glue marks at this point, body is already a disaster of mold marks and lines, sink marks and other assorted issues. This is the original 21 year old windshield, Guess I'll be getting one from a scrap yard, refuse to put a new paper thin windshield in it, I would rather an original. Nick

Coldish outside, didn't have the defrost on............and in the last 18 years there has been many colder days when the defrost was on full blast while driving down pot hole riddled roads, but today I only have my wipers on, it's fairly mild and I was driving down a freshly paved road, stopped at the same stop sign I stop at everyday and *crack* I watched it go across.....................
-
The fact I now need a windshield for my truck..................... Having a bad week, then the windshield decides after having a stone chip for 18 years that it will crack today.............Wonderful...............because I didn't already have enough things to buy and replace on my truck............. Nick

All the sealed kits were $10 a piece............The Volare well, It was priced right thanks to my friend selling it to me, the Jeep only has a few parts started, the Challenger was $8 and the Vicky $12..........I can build another to go with my previous TMP Cruiser.

Contest Theory: A built models tour
Nick Winter replied to Austin T's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Some do it just to display, I never take a model to a contest and intend to win, just take them to show............................... Nick -
Here's some of my trucks, I have about another 15 built that are boxed up with my old builds right now, I have 5 in progress as we speak, and about another 15-20 builders to restore, and I have no idea how many under the bench unbuilt. Forgot these two. Then there's the 3 1:1 pickups LOL '84, '93 and an '01. Nick

I was going to run a FuzzBuster II, but it looks like I may need to step up to a FuzzBuster IV Nick

Thanks, I found a similar family picture and just went with it. Thanks Harry, your teachings have set in well, Lower rad hose, alternator bracket and rearview mirror I wish they had, I never really realized how much I liked how clean the bodylines flowed for a two-door wagon on the '66-'67 body style. Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your comments. It is 1966 Chevrolet Artesian Turquoise, My friend works at a bodyshop and owed me a favor, in the summer I saw a 1:1 Chevelle in the color and fell in love! Yes it is, 90% of the time the wagon will be displayed without the trailer, With the trailering package the car would have it would leave the car with a rake. Nick
