  1. Perfect Ron! added you to the poll http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82338#entry1060592
  2. First off, I'd like to thank everyone for participating in this years Cannonball Run CBP, you enthusiam and effort is greatly appreciated, I hope that we see you all back again next year. There were many exceptional models this year and I'm very proud to have hosted the CBP this year, I'm sure next year will be even better! So, this years standings go as follows; We had a total of 51 Entires! And as of last count, as we have reached the deadline, we have 23 Finished models! So again thank you everyone. I will open multiple poll topics in Underglass (I believe they limit the amount of questions/options) and there will be prizes for the top 3! Nick Ron, send me pictures as soon as you can And I'll add them into one of the polls.

  4. Actually some parts of it were painted, but the main body and bumpers were plastic, it was polished before I even opened the box, found the white residue in some panel lines. Hmmm I may have to attempt that Chuck, watch FB for pictures

  6. Don't like it don't comment............................It's my money that I bust my ass to earn I'll waste it if I like.............
  7. highly doubtful, the promo's of the late 80's are still going for $10-20 on average (with certain exceptions) Not meant to be perfect, just wanted something to do to with it after I stole it's wheels/tires..............
  8. Picked this AMT Promo up on my way home from work tonight, needed the Wheels for a Revell Challenger I'm building for a friend. Couldn't bare to think I paid MSRP for a set of wheels, so I played with it a bit after I saw one go by while having a burger at my favorite local diner after leaving the LHS. I adapted my style though of course, added a few more Retro throw backs as well. Nick and in case you were curious AMT is hand polishing these models, I found some polish residue in the panel edges and such.
  9. So, to anyone wishing they had more time, you've lucked in, I've had a family problem arise and I have to head up north on Saturday and I'm unsure of when I'll be back on Sunday, so.............I won't be posting the Underglass with pole until MONDAY DECEMBER 2ND 2013 Sorry folks, everything else will go as previously planned! Thank you, and see you at the Finish Line. Nick
  10. That is one of the coolest models I've ever seen if anything because of the creativity and execution.
  11. Even more great builds everytime I open this page! I have a bit more information, the evening of the Deadline and morning after the deadline If you could please PM or Email me 1 (your choice of Angle etc) photo of your finished build. Then Day after the deadline ( December 1st I will be posting the underglass) Thank you, See you at the Finish Line!
  12. Noticed no one answered your interior question............White/Black Mopar interiors are my favorite........okay I'm just bias to them. To address that question...........a 1971 Duster with Buckets and Console in White would have; Black: Dash Upper door sections Carpet Steering wheel Seatbelts kick panels Arm rests* Column Center console Sun Visors* White: Seats Door panels Arm rests* headliner' Sun Visors* *- I've seen Mopars built with white interiors have either colored arm rests & Sun visors, even the same cars (make/model/year/trim)
  13. Then there's the redlight district there's the other half of us gone LOL
  14. You folks don't even know the theme or era yet
  15. Darn right were doing this next year! Actually soon as we wrap up this years we'll go into the planning stage of next years Great progress so far guys! Nick
  16. I like Little Big Town, been listening to them for a few years now, bought there first album on CD, it's pretty scratched but still in my truck. I'm not big into country music (new or old) but do enjoy a few select musicians and bands. Nick
  17. When a bird crapped on my hat, my scan tool and the car I was testing............
  18. Have had multiple people very pissed at me for refusing to give safety certificates for there vehicles........Blacked out lights, front or back are illegal in my province as I would assume most states and provinces........ Nick
  19. Been out of town for a few days, looks like I've missed some excellent building! Okey Dokey as long as you think you can make the deadline! I have a soft spot for '70-'72 Dusters, this one is top notch and a true sleeper, makes me want to drag out one of the 4 or 5 AMT kits I have kicking around! Nick
  20. Nice Sebring, my Grandpa has an '04 Sebring LX with 32,000 miles approximatley (53,000 kms) He loves it, drives it and keeps the truck in the garage now. Nick
  21. Those I'm 100% sure of. The others I'm not sure of, I'm a C Body Plymouth guy not an E Body, I'm sure someone else will have the answers for the others
  22. Thanks Bill, I found an empty space in my hobby room, so I filled that space...........overfilled it LOL
  23. You and Bill Thanks Peter, I'll have to get out to a TAPS meeting some Saturday Thanks Larry!
  24. IPMS Ajax 33 show today, ran into a few members of MCM there, the riff raff Anyway, you asked, you will receive, I ended up with a second place in Advanced Trucks, for my '50 Chev 3100 Shop truck. And you know..........I may have bought one or two things......possibly, the bagged kits are 2 MPC '85 Firebirds, MPC Blackbird, 2 MPC 10th Anniversary T/A's and an MPC '69 Cutlass 4-4-2, for $2 a piece ugh........I had to have them. Nick
  25. I tinker away.........Body is my next job after I finish building it a New Engine. Managed to get a picture of both my Rides together, I have a thing for Green/Teal vehicles, even my friends Vette I borrow from time to time is Green... Finished up the trunk for the most part, still need to add my body plugs, even test fitted my Polyglas Power Cushion spare tire. lots of room for model kits Nick
