  1. Looking good, just thought I'd throw some information in about interior, you currently have it all White, For the most part all white interior Mopars generally have black dash boards, steering columns, windshield trim, kick panels and carpet (sometimes arm rests too). Here's a picture of a '68 III With White Interior (and split bench) I apologia for the quality, I don't hoard pics of Slab C bodies, only Fuselage C body Fury's While my car is a Fusey and a convertible, I figured the pictures may be useful anyway. Had to dig back to when my interior wasn't wrapped and squirreled away Thought I had more.....hmm I'll have to remedy that this spring. Nick
  2. Thanks Eric, the color is just Testors One Coat Lacquer Electric Pink, with Duplicolor clear. Closest thing I could find. Nick
  3. A lot of people forget what was steel in those days......... Thanks Guys. It was Fun.
  4. Bought this a little over a year ago, instantly fell in love with the box art (didn't like the exhaust set up) so I decided I wanted a nice fun build so I chose to build this one. Nothing Special. Comments good, bad or ugly welcomed, and yes I know about the paint issue on the right side of the car, I fixed it twice and it reappeared both times, I think It may be a reaction from what ever the body was stripped with before I bought it, I even washed the body before paint prep.......... Nick
  5. Beautiful Build, I'm a sucker for a Mopar in F8 Green.
  6. Very Sorry to Hear Mike. Sometimes things happen that way and there's nothing we can do to change it. Nick
  7. Thank you, searched back but didn't see #42!
  8. So what options will this kit provide? Besides the 2 hoods and custom wheels......... What kinda interior will it have (Console or no Console?) Can or will it come with parts to build a different Non-Hemi Car (meaning maybe a 727 and matching console and/or 8 3/4 instead of a Dana........) Just wondering, pondering purchasing a 1:1 '70 Gran Coupe........If I don't buy the 1:1 I'd like to accurately build a 1:25 of it.........
  9. Sorry to hear that Rob, Hopefully next year! Nick
  10. Bingo.............. I like it, Especially the blacked out Sharktooth grille, Don't see too many people do that. Nick
  11. Love the shoebox ford and those sidepipes are wild!
  12. Whats the quality like of the resin, I've been debating buying a few of the R&R Fury's. Nick
  13. No you don't Those doors aren't light, especially when you have to manhandle them by yourself out of your truck, through the backyard, to the car, then pull the old doors, then position and bolt up the new doors, and haul the old doors back to the truck all with a foot and a half of snow to deal with. Welcome to my hell
  14. Having a deal present itself that is so perfect and unbelievable and not being able to take it because I don't have a Garage, Some days I wish I wasn't a car guy, it would be such an easy resto of such a rare car......... Nuts, Nick
  15. Here, and ForCBodiesOnly.com I build models and I have a C Body Mopar I'm restoring, not much need for another forum. Ialso lurk on FullsizeChevy Forum (though they cater more to the newer '99+ GM Trucks)
  16. Actually if there like the MOOG units I usually use they have a regular hex nut.
  17. Wow, that scary Rob, sand truth is, it happens all the time, There's reasons why I don't work for a chain owned shop. Nick
  18. Guy slammed on his brakes in front of me on a busy 2 lane main artery to let a person out of a side street in rush hour, it was raining, and lets face it a 20 year old truck doesn't stop like a new one on a good dry day. Nick
  19. You guys are building some very cool stuff! Great turnout this year. Nick
  20. Very Nice truck. Been thinking of a new truck myself lately. Nick.
  21. I'll send you a PM Jim.
