  2. Just got home from DAM Christmas. Good turnout, some good plastic talk. Store was still open and I happened to lock eyes on this T/A, the General was a unexpected gift from a fellow Builder. Decals look great! Giggled at this one. Nick
  3. Nope it was molded in Orange. That's why my truck being 4WD has a 350 Small Block. Nick
  4. Thinking of just detailing it a bit for now. Maybe down the road it may shed the fo mo co paint. Nick
  5. Stopped by Wally world to see about the kits, they didn't have them, so I took a quick walk down the diecast isle, they had this one on sale for $8.99. Thought it was kinda neat. Nick

  7. That would be Me Eelco, started with the same kit, used some stuff from the old Revell HotRod issue '75 Chevy and a lot of scratchbuilt/parts box stuff. Need to get around to finishing mine. Nick
  8. when it comes to Buying kits, I always check my LHS First, would go there and get it and maybe spend a bit more, You can't have a nice chat about the hobby face to face with someone buying online, can you, Nick

Nick
  18. Thank Guys, Mike, yes the real cars had a semi gloss finish, Rob, I had no idea how to go about doing the rear bumper and knew that if I attempted to modify this one, It would end up as a stalled build, as I said multiple times, "It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it's result" Eelco, I will Do a quick how to on my next project how I did the flocking. Nick
  19. Scratchbuilt the Tach and combined two shifters, with a scratchbuilt handle for the shifter. Nick
  20. It's not perfect, it's not pretty but I'm happy with it. It's a Curbside, not by my choosing, I happened to get this kit in a trade, missing all of the engine parts. It was mostly built to try new techniques (the way I did the flocking), and new products (Window maker glue, there was a larger chip out of one corner of the windshield) I'm happy with it, that's all I need. Comments, welcome, the good, bad and ugly. Nick
  21. That's a good question, my friend who is a rail roader gave me two tiny bottles without labels and told me to mix them together then our it where I wanted the water. thinking it was some type of epoxy resin. Nick
  22. Last of the WIP pictures. Nick
  23. Chris, I'm not sure, when my grandfather gets back from florida or I'm talking to him, I'll ask him. Nick
