Thinking of taking the AMT piece and modifiying it. Nick

Don't see a point in buying another kit when I already have this flathead, difference isn't that much. Rattle can, should have no problems spray bombing it, going to try the Testors one coat lacquer wet look clear on this one. Nick

Actually my 50's Build is still very active until June of 2012. Nick

Thanks Guys. Dick: the color I ended up buying for it today is a Honda color, Firehawk Black Pearl, it's sort of a black/blue, with a nice pearl to it. Dan: I had my doubts about the size difference but after I test fitted it, it's pretty darn close, and looks fine to me. Managed to do some engine work today. still need to paint the starter and the Rad hoses. Ended up painting the block red, it's not factory correct but looks good. Nick

Grabbed a few things on my way home from a friends, had to stop and get them to replace my oil filter socket (2.2 Ecto-tech), atleast it has a lifetime warranty. Nick

Still not sure on color, started working on the rolling stock today. kit tires with Revell '32 5 window tire decals, and a shot of dullcoat, still need to and treads. Kit wheels, still need to drill for valve stems. Gave the offy valve covers a touch of paint so I could see how they'd look Nick

Thought I'd start another ( I another because of the Curbside '70 Chevelle) simple one, give myself a break from the harder stuff I'm working on finishing. Just something to tinker on while this is drying or that is setting up. The kit I have chosen is Monogram's '32 Ford Roadster, this is a 2010 reissue molded in white that I picked up for the huge price of $11.76 with tax as a new release (had a coupon), I didn't like the small block chevy it had, and so it went back to the stash, in the end of october I picked up the early 90's release of the AMT '49 Merc for the high cost of $5 sealed at the Ajax 31 model show (had a great time looking at all the builds, hitting the vendors and hanging out with the guys in our club). This kit happens to have a beautiful IMHO Flathead with Offy heads and intake, aswell as Stromberg 97 carbs, and a "Beehive" Oil Filter, IMO a great Hot Rod engine. More Photo's to follow.
