I'd prefer a Polara Christian, preferabley a '72 at that. '80's Jimmy K5, prefer '81-'84 What about a '55-'57 Pontiac off of the new Revell tool, a Chiefton would be nice Modern tool '69-'72 Grand Prix off the AMT Monte Carlo tool '81-'88 Pontiac Grand Prix Nick -
Back when my grandfather was in the Navy and stationed on diffrent ships, he sometimes modelled them, almost always when he was on that ship, (so there's no way the can be called inaccurate), my grandfather has since had to give up modelling do to his shakeyness, but now his tools are in my hands. THESE are 100% from scratch, even the cases (there's a plaque for this ship too, well everyone he was on, just can't find the picture) Nick

At the Ajax 31 show I bought 2 Aircraft kits and won this ship in the raffle, it was a Tamiya 1/700th Japaneese Destroyer, However the decals turned to dust, and I got to thinking about some of the ships my granfather served on, this kit happended to be very close to the HMCS Ontario, one of the ships my grandfather served on. So.........yeah. Nick

little bit more, I've been busy at work, but still allow myself some play time. Changed my mind on the color scheme. Nick

Nick Winter replied to Kaleb's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I'd use Duplicolor's Acrylic enamel clear, which is also goof for laquers. Nick -

How do i fix this bleed through?
Nick Winter replied to Haubenschild's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Matt and Nick are correct, I did this when I painted these white stripes lastnight, Taped them, sprayed them with clear, sprayed with a bit of white primer, sprayed color coat (white), when dry I took my knife and ran around the edges, then peeled the tape. Nick -
