Back when my grandfather was in the Navy and stationed on diffrent ships, he sometimes modelled them, almost always when he was on that ship, (so there's no way the can be called inaccurate), my grandfather has since had to give up modelling do to his shakeyness, but now his tools are in my hands. THESE are 100% from scratch, even the cases (there's a plaque for this ship too, well everyone he was on, just can't find the picture) Nick

At the Ajax 31 show I bought 2 Aircraft kits and won this ship in the raffle, it was a Tamiya 1/700th Japaneese Destroyer, However the decals turned to dust, and I got to thinking about some of the ships my granfather served on, this kit happended to be very close to the HMCS Ontario, one of the ships my grandfather served on.   12. Well you said she's Welcome. AMT kit, done for a quicky Weekend build for a CBP I forgot I was in. Painted the stripes brought me home the second from the left 3rd place. Closest thing to box stock I've ever built. Interior, Engine, 302 small block, done up a bit more street-ish Nick

  14. I'd use Duplicolor's Acrylic enamel clear, which is also goof for laquers. Nick

  21. I have a Revell 16th scale '34 ford and I'd like to put a 4 barrel on it, just wondering if such a part exists, and where I can get it, I'd like a aftermarket style 4 barrel intake, carb and air cleaner, this will be hopefully my first finished 16th scale. Nick

  23. Matt and Nick are correct, I did this when I painted these white stripes lastnight, Taped them, sprayed them with clear, sprayed with a bit of white primer, sprayed color coat (white), when dry I took my knife and ran around the edges, then peeled the tape. Nick
