  1. Well it took me quite a while, my first sprayed build was this: and this is my most recent paint job: Big diffrence, the best advice I can give you is, don't rush it, just go slow, and do light coats, and let each coat dry a bit before the next. The GTO got 1 heavy coat, the Z28 got 3 light coats of blue, and 2 medium coats of white. Nick
  2. Great scratchbuilding as always Rodney, One Question, Does that step-bumper come in that kit? Nick
  3. Well I got this today, Paid $10 shipped from a guy in Manitoba, knew it was built, was expecting the wrost got the best It's in great shape! and only needs a few easily attainable things, all the irresplaceable parts are accounted for! Nick I disassembled it, and it was easy, nothing broke, well except the two front wheel retainer pins, but that's why I bought the Second Monaco, as for plans for it, I had planned on chopping the nose off and swapping it with my Monaco's nose, but it's in way to nice a shape to do that so, who knows, I may trade it, for now I'll collect the parts it does need (4 barrel set up, stock wheel covers, exhuast manifolds & crossover pipe, stock steering wheel, drive shaft hoop, and the underhood accessories)
  4. Do you have a photo of the Hubcaps from the '50 Ford, I have one of those kits around here some where. Nick
  5. I managed to get one of my Holy Grails and a few that needed a home. Nick
  6. That looks great, below is a photo of where my car was at when the windsheild was discovered to be cracked at a bottom edge and very visible when installed. Nick
  7. Got this today in a trade, needs a few parts but should make a good project down the road. Nick

  10. Mike I can answer that after looking at my Revell '98 F150 and comparing some parts it had to a Revell '99 Lightning parts kit I had, I noticed the Lightning started life as the F150. those extra parts started life in the '98 F150's engine bay. Nick BTW very nice work so far.
  11. Both Matt. I actually think that the builder must have know what they were doing, I never would of figured out the straight 8 in that configuration. Nick
  12. Wow that looks Great Tony, Can you maybe explain how you did the base, something like that might work for my Bel Air. Nick
  13. No problem, I think were the only ones who did anything, and I wasn't able to finish my Vette due to a cracked windsheild. Nick
  14. Eric I've build a few of those, they have a Solid I beam front suspension with leaf springs, good if you want to convert it to 4WD but not if you want 2WD and the rear differencial if a quick change unit. Nick
  15. I wasn't aware of that Steve, then again I was using the Full Line Brochure. Duh to me Your work so far on the Barracuda looks Very Good. Nick
  16. Steve, very nice looking Resin. this care will likely turn out as nice as your others.I'll definatley be keeping an eye on this build the Gran Coupe is among my favourite Mopar E Bodies. 318 sounds good, 3SPD Torqueflite Column shift Auto or? Are you using Road wheels, Rallye Wheels Deluxe wheel covers or Wire wheel covers? For color L-1 Sandpebble Beige, or P-6 Frosted Teal Poly might compliment the shape of the car. Nick
  17. Don't forget to change the tailights and rear bumper aswell. Nick
  18. None of these are models, but do play a part in the hobby, sort of. And yes that's the Original Vanishing Point not the remake. Some resin, all great quality, Small Block Dodge Resins: Crazy Scale Auto Parts: Nick
  19. Thanks Mike, I say finish your Camaro. Yes I read about the low production numbers that's why I deceided to keep this kit rather than trade it. I'd beleive that Nick
  20. At this point I've caught a rotten cold from last weeks Ice Fishing, yes I actually caught nothing but a cold, and well a 4 pound Rock Bass, but Pickeral only count. Anyway enough talk, the pictures can do that. BMFed my valve covers, added Engine wires and Painted my chassis. Nick
