  4. Only 2 people I buy from my local shop (a excellent one at that) new kits and supplies, and buy my old kits and aftermarket doo-dads from Dennis at Model Express. Nick

  9. Just finished one, it has seperate steering linkage, rear axel, rear traction bar, front springs/knuckles, and a lower control arm piece. Nick just for a better explanation this is my underside
  10. Little more done before my club meeting tommorow. Painted the antenna, temporarily attached the frame to finished body. I'll glue the antenna on before the meeting. the antenna's paint is wet in the picture. Nick
  11. Matt there's a 426 Max Wedge in the '49 Merc, a DeSoto Firedome in the '53 F100 and a 409 in the '57 Bel Air old tool. Nick

  13. Thanks Janne Well bodies finished, just need to put in the mirrors and add the glass. I cleared the car, I installed the grille, and the tailights,Which I black washed and BMFed. Nick

  15. It's pretty good for a Super Snap. Parts are well made. Nick
  16. Well got the Vic taped, then got the black trim spray bombed. Think it looks ok, still need to wet sand the body and do the BMF. Nick

Well Gary, I've removed Testors paint using DOT3 Brake Fluid and Pine-sol, I kid you not, both have left the plastic unharmed (one even left it pine fresh) and I mearly filled up a container large enough for the body to fit in and submerged the body in it for about 1-3 days depending on the age of the paint job, and thickness. hope this helps you.
