  1. What about a piece from you cotton T-shirt? I've used a small scrap of that for a headliner material and it worked okay. Should be the right scale appearance for convertible top?
  2. Nothing? Not even a titer? Hmmmmmmmm tough sub.
  3. Nice body lines! Need the GTC version to go with it! Nice family...................
  4. Okay, I've got one if I don't mess it up! LOL! This old lady goes to the Dentist to get her teeth worked on. She doesn't smile, doesn't say much, kind of a dull person. As the Dentist put's on his latex gloves, he starts talking to her. He tells her the story of how latex gloves are made. "At the latex factory, the workers of all sizes and shapes put their hands into the liquid latex, and that's how gloves are made." Nothing.....................Dentist continues his work. Then the lady cracks a smile and starts laughing. Dentist ask's, "What's so funny?" Lady responds. "Now I know how condoms are made!"
  5. DOH! Moday? I thought it was Romday?
  6. I never finished any projects I started with bondo. I think it's a waist for what we're doing. Good luck with it! I'd stick with MilliPut.
  7. OooooO! One more day to see who's right and who's wrong! I can't wait! Can you feel the excitement in the air? I bet I'm right!
  8. Yes Brandon, we know your in love with Krylon, thank you! I will suggest those to him next time I chat with him. I've noticed when visiting England, that they don't have the same hobby shop's we do. They don't really specialize in model kit building like we do. Their hobby shops greatly support the RC model airplane hobbyist and die-cast collectors. That's about it. I will pass on the info!
  9. Sorry, I forgot it was 1/12th scale. Wasn't even aware of 1/12 scale model kit's. I find 1/12 and 1/16 such odd scales as many millions of die-cast models are 1/18 scale. I prefer to stick with 1/18's my self. Looking forward to seeing this put together! My apologies, I thought it was same scale as your model.
  10. Hello there. I have a friend in the UK who is looking for a clear gloss coat for Tamiya paints. He can not seem to locate any in his area, and paints he's tried seem to eat his finish. We have Tamiya clear coat here, but it's against the law to ship arosol can's. He says he's tried airbrushing the liquid form, but it takes a month for it to harden. Any suggestions? Need a clear gloss paint that's safe with Tamiya colors. He does not care what brand it is, but just want's something in spray form.
  11. What was that good math joke? Something about a certain percent of people can count, and another can't? I forgot exactly how it goes but it's pretty funny.
  12. 1/16? Cool! Did you know that there is a Koenig Specials transkit available for this model? Search for Koenig on ebay under toys/hobbies. It should be there. It's not cheap, but if you can get one, it would look cool on this Targa!
  13. Well, let's see this bad boy on the workbench already! I'd like to see this one happen!
  14. I got it now, thank you! LOL!
  15. Some reason the tires say computer-generated.
  16. Sorry, I still don't get it. PM me with explanation please? I don't want to fill this thread with unrelated topics. Thank you! Anyway, back on subject!
  17. What's a doink? Never heard of that term before.
  18. We all know the golden rule. "Treat others the way you want to be treated." At the same time, don't be rude just because somebody's being rude to you. "He started it!" is NOT an excuse! Plus what Ken said!
  19. Some Milliput put in place. Waiting for it to dry, and then some sanding to give it some shape!
  20. Body work has begun. I used a styrene plastic sheet for front and rear bumper's. I will use this as a background for building the body kit using Milliput. I'll also use the Milliput for molding in the side skirts.
  21. "Come together..........right now...........over me!" LOL! I was thinking the same song when I first read the title! Very nice restoration. Do you have any photos of how you took the two good ends and merged them together? It would be nice to see a photo gallery of that. Nice work! Color suits the car very well and I like your wheel choice! Very classic!
  22. It look's too good to be anything but real. Everything look's in place, reflections, tires, I can even see valve stems, all too perfect to be a model I think. Definitely real on this one. But, we've been fooled before so I'm saying model!
  23. Yes, either the kids teacher or principal can't remember which was the voice of KITT, and that actor was WILLIAM DANIELS. A little something to amuse you with: http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/poitier/1005/id29.htm
  24. That was from Season Two episode Custom Kitt. That was when they were trying to nab a car thief who was stealing high end custom cars whenever there was a car-show around town. They customized "KITT" to help attract attention of thieves. I thought the best scene was when the two wannabe's tried to brake into KITT and KITT opened the doors for them and gave them a ride of their lives! LOL! That would be a cool version to see in model kit form for sure. Can't wait till you do one! Hobby Japan on ebay I believe has the SPS mode of KITT in stock. Their not as cheap as the original MPC models of KITT, but I think their quality speaks for themselves! http://cgi.ebay.com/Knight-Rider-K-I-T-T-S...#ht_4548wt_1167 http://cgi.ebay.com/Knight-Rider-K-I-T-T-S...#ht_5064wt_1167 Sorry, can't find KARR at the moment.
  25. Everybody ran out of jokes already?
