  1. Hello there. Let's play naaaaaaaaaaam that tune! I love the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I know and have one of the songs in that movie, "Oh Yea" from Yello. Question: What is the name of the song they play at the very beginning of the movie? The song that starts right when Ferris said, "They bought it!" after faking an illness to get a day off school? It sounds pretty cool and I'd like to have that song! Anybody else wanna play "Name That Tune"?
  2. Thank you Zuki, and on that score, I got brand new set of shoes for the car today! These are custom machined aluminum wheels from a company called Aluma-Tech. They started producing some wheels for the Kyosho Dnano but these in particularly were custom done for my Countach. As you noticed from previous picture, the stock Dnano chassis wheels look rather generic and ugly on the Countach. So, ta-da! Some proper alloy's! These really give the Countach it's proper look!
  3. With solar-flare activity on the rise, it could burn out sooner than that! EEEEEEK! Oh well, time to stock up on energy-saving light-bulbs!
  4. Engine look's too plasticy. But, I think I'll go with real on this one. Gut-feeling?
  5. Really nice job there! But to me it look's like it has the texture of masking tape? I didn't realize somebody had made a scale vinyl material. Is it stick on?
  6. It ain't over till Porky Pig says, "A be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be, be that's all folks!"
  7. COMEDIANS! Glad to see this thread still alive! Keep it up folks!
  8. Well, I had a dream job of designing concept cars. I've earned two associate degrees that didn't go anywhere. I was working on my third degree of CAD designing in hopes to achieve my dream but my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and she was rapidly going downhill. After I graduated with Associates Degree of Graphic Design, she was getting worse. I started my CAD programs and couldn't finish it. I was too depressed by mom's health and I never finished it. She passed away two-three years ago and I haven't been working officially since. I'm currently assisting my Dad with his stuff and scanning a boat-load of family-history photo's onto an external hard-drive to preserve the history. So for me, I really don't have a profession, or a job. And with today's economy, job searching really sucks when you lack skills and have no job experience.
  9. Well, I might have been wrong on the scale, but I did say it was a VERY BIG Model didn't I? Since it isn't 1/5 or 1/8, I'm going to say quarter scale! 1/4!
  10. HA! I said model, I WIN! I say 1/18?
  11. Live long and prosper that's all I can say!
  12. I think in Japan it's the Jazz and here it's the Fit. Nice work, I hope your brother likes it much better now! I would!
  13. Beautiful! It needs a KS Competition Testarossa next to it!
  14. Well, I like to think positive. I've always had a goal to live to be 150 years old if possible. I'm only 35 so I've got plenty years left. I'm a big Star Trek fan and I believe in it's hidden messages. Think of the movie Star Trek First Contact. A great movie and one of my favorite Trek films. Got it on the good ol' Tivo. When man-kind realize they are not alone in the universe, things will change for the better. Or, if we do find out we are alone, perhaps we'll be more kind to each other? Hmmmmm?
  15. I've been to Vegas once, but never to SEMA. I'd love to go to SEMA if/when I can ever afford it. Don't they sell model's as well? Might find same stuff there, I don't know.
  16. Thanks' except Wikipedia isn't always accurate with it's information.
  17. Thank you. I found the site and looked it up, but didn't give me much help. All it said was 911 (930). I did not see what year it was. That black slope-nose was pretty sweet too!
  18. One of my favorite car movies is No Man's Land. It stars D.B.Sweeney and Charlie Sheen. It is about a rookie cop who infiltrates a Porsche mechanics shop that has been accused of stealing Porsches. The best scene in the movie, is where Billy and Ted, yes that's their names, steal a silvery-blueish Porsche 911? They then get chased by the "competition" in a Cadillac and blue Chevy Camero. I'm guessing it's a Cadillac. Question is, what year is that silvery Porsche? And what's the color used? Also, what kit is there of that model?
  19. I hated riding school buses because they didn't have seat-belts. Nowadays you see video of kids being bounced off the seats hitting their heads on the ceiling when school buses drive over bumps and what not. Only issue with helmets that I know of, is that while they may protect your head from hitting the pavement hard, they do not prevent your brain from getting damaged by the moment. Helmets should have some sort of mini air-bag inside to help cushion the blow. Two things I don't like about airbags. One, is you can still get pretty bruised up especially if wearing glasses from an airbag collision. Second, although a very minor reason not to like airbags, is you can't put in aftermarket steering wheels. Some really good aftermarket steering wheels like Momo and the likes are better than the factory steering wheels and can provide you with better grip. Better grip, better control. A lot of stock steering wheels are just too slippery. One thing I find funny about motorcyclists, is those that have the helmet on the back of the bike, but they don't wear one. What do they think there going to do? Instantly put it on when their falling down?
  20. How about the cartoon where a teenage turns into a car? Teen Turbo or something like that? Yea, what a classic! Anybody catch that pun on the sign? Motor-nity ward? LOL!
  21. I don't understand the hole seatbelt/helmet deal. Both are required but nobody gets pulled over for not wearing a helmet. A motorcyclist without a helmet is in far more danger than a driver without a seatbelt. In a car, you have a lot more protecting you than when your out in the open on a bike. As for people thinking they are safer without a seatbelt, I think it's just luck. One can't really predict what will happen in an accident, and in my tiny little aluminum car, I think I'm safer wearing one.
  22. Here's a comforting thought. Last night I was watching TV and saw the following adds. First one, was for the Nastrodomous Effect program talking about 2012. Then right afterwards, advertisements about the Olympic games being held in 2016. Four years after the end of that calender. So if we're preparing for games in 2016, than all is good right?
  23. I think both Fujimi and Aoshima do sidewall lettering as well so I wouldn't go by that!
  24. While the lighting and background say real, the body lines don't look deep enough. I'll say it's a very big real model.
  25. I don't see tire-compression that you normally see on real cars. Then again, could've been freshly inflated.
