  1. Been waiting soooooo lomg for this part!, can't wait to see more!
  2. Thanks Tyrone, I posted pics of the Nova, Comet & my '71 Dodge Demon (that's on hold for right now) on the Pro Mod Modeling Group on Facebook a few minutes ago, I'll put them on my Photobucket then on here sometime today. I think the Comet body is "loosely" based on the Ronnie Sox car, the main body & rear wing do look alot like Ronnies, the front bumper/airdam is different ( I think Ronnies airdam was a little more rounded), I'm thinking of covering the front grille with some sheet plastic To make it a little more "swoopy" like Ronnies & thinking about adding some rear fender tire "bumps" like Ronnies Blue-then-White car. By the way, the Comet is from Bandit Resins.
  3. She's looking good Tyrone!, the paint does look alot better this time around.
  4. Nice looking jacks Rom!, don't know for sure but might make a set or 2 for myself using your tutorial. Great set-up!
  5. crazyjim, a little saying I had back when I lived in Fl. & was working at a truss plant when someone asked me to do something I couldn't, "I would if I could, but I can't,so I won't" LOL!, don't worry, summers coming & I'm sure you will get some of the wet stuff soon.
  6. Daves right Patrick, I use mainly gloss clear, evey now & then I'll use the sealer. And I use nothing but spray cans.
  7. From some of the pic's I just checked out , the slicks look right as you have them, if you would like to double check for yourself you can do what I did, I went on my homepage, put "winkle wall slicks" in the search area, then clicked onto images & scanned down the page looking at the pics. By the way the chassis & engine look great!
  8. The car looks great Rom! don't know which pic I like best. Is it still raining in Southern California?, it started raining here yesterday afternoon & is going to continue today, it's only supposed to get to 49 or so out today, so like you no painting today, it is going (hope)to be back in the 70's by Wed. & the 80's by Thurs. do some painting then. Got some pics taken of the engines & a couple of shots of the Comet body & the Nova's front clip where I did some more work, I'll post them as soon as my niece ( who hides all the camera stuff so I can't do it) loads up the pics on my Facebook Albums, then I'll put them on my Photobucket then here. Wish I could make it to the Desert Classic this year & see you all but thats not in the books this year, hopefully next year.
  9. The wheels look great Charlie!, I've seen the lug/stud idea on your website & plan on using it myself, I'll be posting some pics very soon (maybe if I can later today). This is to Niko, go ahead & buy the parts from Charlie, while I don't have some of the things Charlie sells, I do have his Detail Wire, Seatbelts & Braided Line, they are excellent & not expensive, I highly recommend them.
  10. Real nice build, the paint came out great!
  11. Looking good so far.
  12. The Camaro looks good Rob, the paint is excellent!
  13. Just found this build-up today & checked out the full build, the paint looks awesome Wayne, really like the camo decals,it's really too bad that Chris had to shut down TEM, I had just found him before his first move to help take care of his mother & had ordered a few parts (nitrous bottles, nitrous fuel cells, the 3&4 speed transmissions & the blowers), I had to wait awhile before he was able to send the parts, but the wait was worth it, the parts are great looking & so highly detailed for such small stuff, and just before he closed down for good I had ordered the Firebird body & a hood scoop, oh well. Can't wait to see the chassis when it's done, Keep up the good/great work!
  14. I know what you mean about airbushes Charlie, had a cheap (but nice)one back in Fl., didn't mind mixing the paint just really hated having to clean the dang thing!, spray cans are much easier, turn upside down & spray. LOL!
  15. The interior looks great Charlie, she's coming along good. 1 question, is the chassis/rollcage painted orange or is it the flash from the camera, because all the pics I've ever seen of JJ's car the chassis was red.
  16. The nozzle looks good Rom, I'm going to be checking out some of the sites listed for the Fire Suppression System for my builds!
  17. Not only does it look like he's winning, he must be under weight, has to carry a passenger!
  18. She sure is looking good Rom, waiting to see some paint on that beast!
  19. You call them small! LOL! They look good Rom, I really think that those parts are a couple of inches in length , you just have HUGE hands! LOL!
  20. The Chi-Town looks great Andy, don't keep putting yourself down the pictures are great & so are your builds. (if you need to be put down, let me know, I'll do it for you! LOL!)
  21. Using plastic?, I didn't know you were allowed to use plastic Rom! LOL!, the chutes look great & the chute handle came out well also, can't wait till you start putting some paint on this thing!
  22. The chute frame & the header details 1 word : AWESOME!
  23. The knock-off came out great looking Rom (whats new!), the little pin is a great idea, even in 1/16th the tiny things you make are remarkable.
  24. Death is looking great Brett, the decals & paint look fantastic!
