  1. It's coming along well Brett, I'll be watching as "Death" gets ever closer!
  2. Paul, Congrats on having it in the Museum, that must mean alot, it is a really nice build, & as I mentioned, it makes the slicks look like a wrinkle wall, great work!
  3. Really nice Yenko, for a first build I don't think it can be beat, I know my first few weren't that great, the paint turned out great, really like the red,Dr. Cranky said it right, it makes the car POP, can't wait to see more of your builds.
  4. Take your time with the paint Rom, don't want all that time & effort going for naught, getting it as right as possible the first time is a lot better then stripping it over & over.
  5. Your Dart came looking nice,Mick, really like the green paint.
  6. Hey , I just noticed looking at JJ's car, it looked like the rear slicks were "wrinkle-wall", looked closer, a little bit of dry-rot eh?, I had a pair (both of them) go out on ne of my old builds, I had wondered why it was sitting so low, looked closer both slicks had full rips in them. Oh well!
  7. Jason, the Impala looks good, great job on the black paint & the foil. As soon as I can get it, I'm planning on doing up a version of Ronnie's '64 Comet Pro-Mod.
  8. The cage does look better now, the whole car looks nice, can't wait to see her done!
  9. "Death" is looking real good Brett, have to say tho, with the small cab of the truck, the rollcage really looks strange being so small, use to seeing the full size, but of course that would not work on the truck, the color tyrned out nice too!
  10. Paul, really liked you Nova, nice blue, is that the AMT "Old Pro" car? Bernard, nice digger!
  11. Nice looking engine. Does the block come with the wire for the pulleys, or did you add them in?
  12. Can't wait to see how this turns out, steerable front or not. Last pic almost reminds me of the Predator.
  13. It all looks good Rom,can't wait to see some paint (besides primer LOL!) on the beast. Also would like to say, I like the little scoops you left in the hood.
  14. Nice Job! Congrats on getting the pictures published!
  15. On the bottom of the page you will see a listing for "More Reply Options",click on that & you will see a listing for "Preview Post", click on that & you will see the Posting you just did & you can see if your post came out right.
  16. Really like it, nice job, great idea also!
  17. Ah!, see this is were we all get confused with what people write, when I asked about where the BBQ was, what I meant was who's place was the BBQ at?, probably at Luis's. My Bad.
  18. As you say Rom, the car only has to go straight (till it gets to the return road). As for seeing the tree, just set up a mirror in the cockpit area, I don't remember who it was but a Pro-Stock driver set up a mirror so he could see the tree over the hood scoop when in the right lane.
  19. What John said.
  20. The problem is that just because the weather turns cooler (cold in Fl. ),the humidity doesn't go away, when I lived there I work 2nd shift at a truss plant 3:30 PM-11:30PM, and during the winter it got down to the low 60's (kidding, it got down to the upper 20's to the low 30's. I also had friends who thought just because we worked nights the humidity wasn't that bad, they were wrong. When I first moved here to Tucson, my sister took me up Mt. Lemmon, about 8,000', it was snowing & 32 degrees out, & I was standing there in a pair of jeans & a t-shirt & it wasn't cold, no humidty.
  21. The scoop is looking good Rom. As for the issue, I would have to guess the back issue department, maybe check with Harry or Greg, your a moderator now, has to have some perks right?, besides dealing with us!
  22. Nice project (key word PROJECT), you got going here, I'll be watching to see it get done. By the way, where's the BBQ at?
  23. Rom, the car is looking just great! When you get tired of looking at it (soon I hope! ), I think you can just send it to me, it needs to be with a Mopar fan right?. Also I'll tell you here, that article on Mr. Ryder's '65 Chevelle (with all the working parts) is in the October 2000 issue of MCM
  24. Ah Yes, the Fl. summers are really wonderful ain't they, hot, humid then it rains, cools down then the humidity comes back three times as bad, don't miss it a bit.But once summer leaves it starts to get to cold too quick, don't know how the fall/winter is in Daytona Beach, but in the Tampa area (lived about 50 miles north)they are getting just to cold, Az. is just right.
