  1. As you can see from everything above, I think you fit in!, great looking builds.
  2. The paint/decals looks good Brett, can't wait to see the finished product. I personally think that the blue on the Slixx Decal looks off compared to the picture on the box.
  3. Rom, as I said before, car is looking killer, I'm in the process of working on 2 P/N (ADRL Pro-Nitrous) cars. 1 is my Yenko SS Nova (thats had some body work started then was put on hold, she's back on the drawing board with a little more body work going to be done to her),it'll have a 4-stage set-up on a Ross Gibson Next Generation Semi Hemi (I have some pics of the body when she was put on hold on my Facebook Photos page),car #2 is a '64 Mercury Comet (from Bandit Resins) P/M,this will also have a 4-stage set-up on a Ross Gibson 815" Ford Nitrous Motor,I have detailing parts from some of the best : Pro-Tech, R.B. Motion, Detail Master, Slixx, Scale Motorsports. Working on the engines now with some time on the bodies. I'll be posting some pics by the end of the month or early next month.
  4. Hey Rom! How you doing!,it's been awhile. The car is looking great buddy, the detail is right up to par with eveything else you do, keep it up !
  5. Hey Guys, I'm back, just want to say really nice build Darryl, paint job looks great!. And just in case anyone wants to go ahead & build a '64 Dodge like the Yellow Dodge Fever, Perry's Resins has a Pro-Mod body based off of that car, I know, I have one & it looks just like it, when I ordered mine (a few years back), it came with just the body, hood, scoop & a seperate rear bumper, now it also comes with the dashboard.
  6. I've been building models pretty much since '63/'64,my older brother got me out of the monster models & into the ships & planes, then into cars, where I've been ever since. He showed me how to glue without using the entire tube for 1 part (LOL), how to paint etc., so my "big" brother (I put big in "", because he's 5-7, I'm 6-0),is the main reason. My going into the Pro-Mod building & trying to do the detailing all came about from an old issue of SA, #97 (June 1995), & Anthony Cairo's P/M Firebird that was on the cover & featured inside, it made me go in that direction. Now, I'd have to say, the people that have moved me to do (try) even more of the detailing (scratch-building chassis's engine parts etc.)are the great builders I discovered here, trying to name them all would take too long, so here are my top 7. Romell Robinson,Chris Sobak,Tyrone Price,Wayne Stevens Jr.Robert Quimby,Brett Tynum & Daryl Raper. All these people really inspire me to try to push myself farther, not to give up when I run into problems, & to try & get things right before moving on. Thanks to all the guys listed & to all those that I didn't list on this site that inspire me, thanks also to Gregg & Harry for putting out a great magazine (I'll renew my subscription & get the back issues that I've missed hopefully soon)& a fantastic Forum.

  12. I would have to say, that my overall favorite build of Daryl's has got to be that '58 Plymouth Fury, it's just beautiful, 2nd would have to be his Oakley Camaro.

  14. The electronics are looking sweet Rom, I have a question, I noticed that there are no floor boards, are you going to be running a belly-pan set-up or are you just gonna leave it open for better veiwing?, & I can't wait to see this car done & painted!, it's beautiful!
