The chasiss is looking good James, never had a problem with the front tube work on either of mine. The reason why the distributor goes in the back is because the chasiss, interior tin & engine are all generic, the only things different from one car to the next, is the body, decals, wheels and the heads/valve covers. The Christine car has a extension piece that needs to be glued to the back of the tin work to make it fit the longer Fury body, the engine to the Fury is supposed to be a Mopar B-1, that also should have the distributor mounted up front. It's cheaper to keep reusing molds then to make a new mold for every car.

Seen in a recent issue from the other model mag, that Revell is going to release the Jukebox Ford again, not as a StreetBurner like they did with the '55 & '57 Chevy's, wonder if they will redo Christine sometime soon.

The top pic you posted (front 3/4 view) makes the Chevelle look awesome Jeff! -
She's looking good, like the way the engine is turning out.

Nice build, always liked the Candies & Hughes Mopar F/C's, one bit of "nit-picking" (it's the Slixx decals), the decals give a 1971 grille (dual headlights, louvered grille) & '72-'74 tailights (round instead od slited style). Great build!

The '55 looks great, like the shade of green, well done!

Looks like she's coming along nice Rick!, hope to see some more! -
I bought his '64 Comet P/M body a year or so ago, it looks great & I didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. (Now if I can just get something good going financially I might be able to get to building it!)

It's still looking good Jeff, just can't leave it alone eh! , I'm sure it'll look great anyway you do it! -
Mitch, on the one Jukebox that I built completely, i didn't have much trouble with the hood decal, the sides were a bit of a problem (not real bad tho) because of the size (length), over all it went together well, I wish I could remember what color paint I used on the body, it matched the photo pretty good, I do think the rear wing was painted black.

The Chevelle is looking good, I'm sure your nephew will love it!, by the way, that's one heck of a hood scoop!

2012 Dodge Avenger Pro Mod....updated 07/28/13
Dragracer replied to 1320wayne's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
The body is looking great Wayne, love the Mike Janis injector hat, planned on trying to make one myself for the "Angela" '71 Dodge Demon that is somewhat in the works. -
Had this model, builds out pretty nice, lost most of it but have the original body (painted & decaled) & a spare body, plan (sometime) to combine the 2 bodies (lengthen the front end) & build it as a modern P/M, scratch-build a chassis & use a Ross Gibson motor, also have 2 of the '55 Bel Aires (Streetburner & Charles Carpenters version), plan on the same thing there & have a Christine body which will also be done up as a modern looking P/M. Your build is looking real nice so far!

1966 Ford Falcon Pro Mod NOT MUCH LEFT TO DO NOW! 6/19/14
Dragracer replied to am73grand's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Ron, the car is looking good, the cage came out looking great!, there is just 1 problem i see, in the picture you have showing the body on the chassis & looking from underneath (the 4th pic down), it looks like the front suspension arms are going to be a little to far forward, it would put your front tires into the front fender, need to bring the arms back a little, shorten the frame in front of the firewall or lengthen the front fenders a little, can't wait to see more of this build! -
Steve, after doing some checking, you only have to worry about the wheelie bars on Don Carlton's Duster, Arlen Vanke didn't run wheelie bars on his, at least not in any of the pics I've looked at.
