Between Thumper & Tyrone you can't go wrong.I'm planning on using Thumper's teachings & the Revell kits as a basis for my P/M's.

I think as everyone else does, the Vega looks great."The Professor" is one of my favorite all-Chevy drivers also, along with Dick "Mr. Chevrolet" Harrell & Bruce "USA-1" Larson, Mr. Chadwick's Red & White Camaro & Yellow & White Vega F/C's were my personnal fav's.

Personally, I like blowers, but a twin-turbo might not be that bad, I'm also not that big a fan of T/F style wings, some cars don't look bad with them, but I don't think the chevelle body style goes with it that well, I like the full wing that alot of the cars run, all that being said it's your build & as I've seen some of your builds I'm sure it'll turn out great however you build it.

What is your dream model kit?
Dragracer replied to Jordan White's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Mines easy, I've always liked the 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda, big block (440/426),Revell (NOT a reissued AAR),with rear window louvers (slats, whatever). -

Love the pic's of the trannie, looks awesome (as usual), the car does look nasty in primer, but wait till you see it in full color!, I'm sure it will look even nastier. -
I agree completely, the build looks great. The rear wheels are "Daisy" mags (aka American 200S Racing wheels), you can get some resin ones from Competion Resins (I bought a few a while back and they are great).

How long have you been modeling?
Dragracer replied to wvsm's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Started building models back around 1963, I was 5, started with the Monster models (Dracula,Frankenstein the Wolfman Etc.), then went into submarines (didn't bother with ships) followed by war planes (the Red Baron's Fokker Tri-plane,which was molded in light blue)then WW2 fighter planes then around '66 at the age of 8 I discovered CARS, & have never looked back.I'll be 53 in March, so I've been building for almost 48 yrs.& have enjoyed it completely. -
MCM December Issue #155 Arrived Today
Dragracer replied to Crazy Ed's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Gregg, I just want to say I think you do a great job, I love the magazine & have since I found it & subscribed. My current subscribtion runs out in April & even though I am unemployed (& have been for what seems like forever)I will try my best to re-up my subscription when the time comes, I suffer from lower back spasms so while they are not as bad as what you go through, I know what it's like trying to get around. Keep up the great work. -

Recieved mine on Monday, perfect condition,I also liked the ad for the carbon fiber decals, the way it was laid out & the pictures on the side, well done!, I also enjoyed the Teresi article, the only thing wrong was not enough pictures! Great Issue! -
Tyrone, I don't think you give yourself enough credit, you build awesome cars man.

It's to make adjustments to the Koni shocks. -
I agree with George 53, the Revell Pro-Mods/Pro-Sportsman models are real nice, & it might be easier to start with something a little different, but if you want to try, I get most of my P/M's from Model Express, the '55 & '57 Revell models are also out as "Street Burners", they might be at your local hobby shop. Tyrone does build some excellent P/M's, & most of his builds are scratch built chassis's & resin bodies (from Flash Points Resins), Slixx & Model Express also carry Flah Points bodies. Good Luck in your builds & welcome to the Forum, you will find lots of helpful people here.

###### Tyrone, I just might have to start hating you ,(just kidding!), your builds are some of the best I've seen on either MCM or SA forums, when I get done with the Nova (if it turns out good enough)my next build that I'm planning on is going to be a nitrous GTO, & I will be using you builds as inspiration on it (not to mention probably coping it pretty much ). What do you have planned next?
