  1. Yeah, I'm not thrilled either....., joking! looks great to me, like the paint & the rear tires/wheels, super tricks look nice too, where did you get them?, don't look "stock".
  2. The Whipple & McCulloch Blue Demon :blue chassis with blue tin work. Ed McCulloch Red Duster :black chassis with red tin work. M T's Red Grand Am: gold chassis & tin work.Chi-Town Hustler : black chassis with red tin work, I'm not sure about the others, for the ones I listed I checked the ones I own. All of the Revell F/C's ran Cragar Super Tricks (kit wheels), it was part of the contract with the racers, I know when the Blue Revellution first hit the strips it had Halibrands (the Demon body was mounted on the 'Cuda chassis the team was running at the time) then switched to the Cragars, also when the 1st version of the Revellution came out in model form it had Firestone Drag 500's in the kit, reissues had Goodyears.
  3. Nice build, just like the Chevelle the bodywork looks fantastic!, notice you stretched the body at the doors, I'll have to follow both builds I guess!
  4. I saw a post written above about the Competition Resin's Donovan 417 & people were wondering about it, well I bought one a few years ago thru Slixx & it is a great looking engine, no problems with it that I could see, the only thing you would have to do to convert it to a 392 (besides the valve covers which you already have)is sand/grind down the Donovan 417 logo on the bottom of the block. It is a nice engine, as I said I've had it for a few years now but I haven't put it together yet.
  5. Also, I just want to add in, no body makes the decals for the '70 Hot Wheels Snake & Mongoose cars that I know of, the 'Goose allowed Slixx to do a decal of the Mongoose 2 Blue with Red Flames Duster but from what I heard Prudhomme won't allow the decals for any his Snake 'Cuda's to be done, so either have to use the Monogram 1/24th decals or make a set of your own.
  6. Competition Resin's makes a pretty nice 'Cuda body & a Duster body that I think would work out better for the 'Goose's car as it has the little "hump" in the center of the grille area, the Navy Duster doesn't have the hump being as it's the same body Revell uses for the Revellution Dodge Demon,Slixx decals makes a decal sheet (under the Goodies area) that has a bunch of F/C grilles/taillights,it has a grille/tailights for a '70 'Cuda & Duster, as for the chassis to make a correct build you would more then likely have to scratch build. Too bad you want it in 1/25, I have 2 or 3 (can't remember) of the Snake & Mongoose Combo Kits, I know I have 2.
  7. And another beauty, Big John's cars were always very nice to look at,the candy apple red is always a great color.
  8. I agree with everything written above, the car looking good, the stance looks great, I as always will be following this build!
  9. The Chevelle's coming along well, like the front-end work. Can't wait to see more, & the yellow with black sounds pretty good too!
  10. One of the best Nova's I've seen, great build!
  11. Bandit Resin's also has a '69 Chevelle P/M body with a large cowl induction hood scoop, but this is looking really interesting, like the black wheels better then when they were blue.
  12. Car is looking good Tyrone (what's new with that!), think the black wheels would look good, can't hurt to find out.
  13. After reading your post, I want and searched Dodge Avenger Funny Cars & then clicked on the images link & checked out some photo's of the Avenger F/C's, from all the pictures I checked it sure looked like all the bodies were smooth, no hood or door lines, so Fill em in!
  14. For the bodies, there are a few places to get resin stuff, FlashPoints makes some Camaro bodies & you can get their stuff through them at their site & Model Express (my favorite model shop), the 64 Chevelle, no one I know makes a P/M body of that car, Bandit Resin's makes a '69 Chevelle P/M, for the chassis you will either have to buy a P/M or P/S model & use that chassis or scratch -build your own. For the '64 Chevelle what you would have to do is get a '64 Chevelle model (or just the body) & put it on the chassis. Engines could come from the P/M, P/S models or you could get a Ross Gibson engine from a # of dealers (Model Express?).
  15. Looks good so far, keep it up!
  16. Trapper, TEM closed shop for awhile due to family health issues between Chris & family members, he's been getting things ready to reopen his shop, the last I heard he should be reopening sometime this week or next.
  17. O-K, thanks, can't wait to see this build as it moves along.
  18. Nice car, engine & paint look good, polishing a car out is not that hard really, my very first one came out pretty good, just make sure you have enough paint on it so you don't sand through.
  19. Either way the car looks great!
  20. Yeah, that looks good!
  21. Maliblues sounds good too, the car would have to go blue then.
  22. Nice build Steve, should be a good race!. I have just one question on the Ramchargers build, isn't the height set-up backwards?, most of the AWB cars I've seen (including the Ramchargers picture your showing) has the front-end up & the back-end sitting down. Don't take this wrong, just wondering.
  23. Hebby Chebby, I like it, goes well with the "heavy chevy" moniker. As for the color, if you use the Hebby Chebby set-up I think the purple or blue would go best.
  24. Body looks good, engines coming along, but whats new, all your builds are fantastic!
  25. I don't know, that blower belt in that one picture looks pretty big, how big a big block is it? , can't wait to see more.
