  1. Thanks Brett, it has been a big help,I'll print up 1 copy & see how it goes on (when I get that far), if it bleeds through I'll just print up another copy & double up, have to use white paper for mine because the main character has a lot of white, (she's very pale!).
  2. HA!, the "SLOWEST builder known to man",think I may have you beat!, haven't gotten around to doing anything on my P/X build since the 5th of this month, keep saying I'm going to do some work on it, then don't,I also keep saying I need to do some work no matter how little on it everyday, but don't, planning on doing some work on it as soon as I get off the computer, but then the NHRA P/M racing (from Atlanta, last week) is coming on at 3:30, followed by the Summernationals at 4:00, still, hope to get something done today, if I'm lucky (of which I'm not!). Your Uncle's Camaro looks real nice & I think your build will do it justice!
  3. The digger looks real good!
  4. John, The Jag's lookin' good, like the body work. Have 1 question tho, you have the 2 nitrous bottles in the car, but I've seen nothing showing them hooked up, no spots on the engine for them, no solenoids or anything & the last pictures didn't show any lines running from the bottles to the engine.
  5. O-K, let's really face it & state the facts right! Today is the end of the world, for some people somewhere, Am I right? (not trying to be mean or nasty) (maybe Black Oak Arkansas's Hot 'n' Nasty !)
  6. Both cars look great Brett! I have a question concerning the decals (really 2 questions), are they printed on clear or white decal paper?, did you have any trouble with bleed-thru or did you double up on the decals?, asking because I'm going to be printing up my own decals (using decal paper from BMF) & I'm wondering if I should print up 2 copies of the decals & double up. Thanks.
  7. Hey John, the chassis & engine came out looking great!, also baddgass is right, nitrous is not allowed on supercharged cars in the NHRA, however nitrous is allowed on supercharged cars in the ADRL (American Drag Racing League),just have to change the Pro-Mod (P/M) to Pro-Extreme (P/X), keep up the great work, can't wait to see this sucker painted!
  8. Everything is looking great John, the chassis is coming along well, any ideas on the paint job yet?
  9. Dang! wish I could afford either one!
  10. Bandit Resins has a nice looking '69 Chevelle, in the new Contest Cars issue on page 74 there's a picture of the Chevelle built by Don Womble, it looks pretty good ( both Don's build & the body overall), it comes with the "picnic table" wing & the large cowl-induction hood scoop. Just in case you want to check it out, they also have a '64 P/M Comet (Ronnie Sox's is what it reminds me of).
  11. The car is looking great John!, like the seat, turned out great!
  12. I agree, that looks like the Monogram Camaro body, I had the original Dick Harrell "Fred Gibb" F/C way back when, and mine came with a blank grille (no headlights or grille detail), being as the DH car had a "Mr. Chevrolet" decal that went there, also, it had a flat hood, no cowl-induction scoop.
  13. Sorry to hear you have to sell some of your builds to make room, I'm guessing you had (are having) a hard time deciding which builds to keep & which to sell. The Camaro looks nice!
  14. the chassis looks excellant John!, like the way the hood scoop is looking, really like the louvers running alongside the scoop, looks cool!
  15. I have to admit, I wasn't too sure about this build, I liked it, but wasn't crazy about it, now tho you have made me change my mind (to the lite side!), this car is coming along great! really enjoying it John! keep it up!
  16. I check his website every now & then, when I checked yesterday he had A LOT of 1/16th scale stuff, 2 rear wheels,a 500" hemi engine for NHRA F/C's & a bunch of stuff, too bad I can't afford ahything right now!
  17. I recieved mine on Tuesday, in great condition, great issue, lots of nice cars, needed more drag cars tho.
  18. Flashpoints Resins has 1/16th scale Goodyear Frontrunners on their website, I know that they are not the same as the Goodyear tires that came in the F/C kits, but they are the right size & made for F/C or P/M.I don't know if this will help or not, they are listed under New Releases.
  19. Jeff, I checked my TV schedule for the NHRA Pro-Mod races (I record the P/M races on my DVD player/recorder for ideas/reference), & they are not running at Charlotte this weekend, their next race is at Houston at the end of the month.
  20. I'm sure either of them would work just as well.
  21. It's looking good John, I like the rear Daisy wheels, are you gonna use them or are they for the mock-up only?
  22. I agree with Wayne, really nice paint, overall car looks good, I like it!
  23. I don't think it would hurt. The trailer comes with an opening door on the side with a moveable engine hoist, as I said it's a really nice kit.
  24. The Jag looks like it's coming along nicely, like the way the body is looking, waiting for more!
