  1. DUH!, saw it & forgot about it,(darn those '70's!)
  2. Chris, Let me know if you can't get the Donovan from CR or Slixx, you might give Model Express a try, Dennis carries CR parts, he could have the engine. But as I said if you can't get it anywhere, let me know, I don't have any plans for it at this time, it's just sitting in my room crying to be used (LOL!)
  3. It looks great John, the headers came out great for sure!, do you have a name or anything to put on it?
  4. Chris, just sayin', I have a Competition Resins Donovan thats just sitting in it's bag.
  5. Your P/X Camaro is looking good, like the chassis build, I noticed you mentioned checking the NHRA rules,is your build going to be a ADRL P/X car or a NHRA P/M?, being as their rules are a bit different, as is stated in another post the ADRL does allow nitrous on the supercharged cars, the ADRL also (as stated before) allows nitro in the SC cars(the rules being a thicker firewall, & restrictions on the type & size blowers plus the amount of overdrive on the blowers),turbochargers are also allowed in the ADRL on SC cars as are duel magnetos. I am in the process of building a P/X car in 1/25th scale (soon to start posting), so I checked the rules for the ADRL's P/X & P/N classes, and when I had a couple of questions concerning certain rules not mentioned (the magnetos for ex.), I sent a e-mail to their tech-adviser asking 3 questions, I received answers a day or so later so that I could build my car as accurate as possible. Keep up the good work, like this build.
  6. My Dad (& his brothers) served in WW2, Dad was a Mortar Sargent in Germany, my Mom worked in a factory making parts for the Corsair planes, got a lot of photos taken by my Dad & his friends in Germany. Thanks go out to all who have served & who are serving, THANK YOU ALL!.
  7. Tyrone the Camaro looks great!, really like the front extension on the nose, not to many people seem to think of putting one on, looks good, I was wondering what happen to this build, hadn't seen anything on it recently, looks good!
  8. The chassis's coming out top notch, the brass looks good.
  9. 1 word John, BEAUTIFUL!, the red (with the green striping) looks great on the silver, the rip paint job came out great!, Love It!
  10. Bought 1 of their trailers a few years ago, had no problems with it at all (screwed up painting the wheels, but they worked out o-k), liked it so much, bought another one shortly after, painted the ramps & floor of the trailer Testor's Aluminum Plate, buffed it out & it turned out fantastic, great product.
  11. Just love the paint on the front end, the silver & highlights look awesome, can't wait to see the rest of the paint.
  12. The Daytona looks good!the chassis is coming out great! enjoying this build, can't wait to see more posts.
  13. The body work looks great John, can't wait to see her painted up!
  14. The chassis is coming great, I could never work in brass, so I have to stick with styrene. I myself am a Mopar man (favorite car a '70 "Cuda), but I've never owned a Mopar, I have owned a '66 Chevelle (1st car),'68 Impala, & a '71 Nova, parents were all Chevy, the Chevelle & Nova were hand-me-downs, had the Nova longer then my parents did!
  15. Sorry I can't help with the decals, but a real nice '71 Dodge Demon.
  16. John, I think I have to disagree with you on the "one thing I lack are the technical features on a build", I was looking at the latest issue of MCM & saw your motorcycle build, now I'm not into bikes, (F/C's (from the '60's right up to the current ones) & P/M's)but that bike looks AWESOME!, all the detail put into it, sorry sir, but you are one of the masters, right up there with my other top builders, Clay Kemp, Wayne Stevens Jr. & Tyrone Price (there are others also, but these 3 come to mind first). Keep on with the Jag, enjoying it very much!
  17. Now THAT looks nice!,always liked the '70 TA Firebird, always thought that was the best looking 'bird
  18. Looks like a Mustang grille to me!
  19. As hor the Sharpie question, awhile ago I bought the AWB Longnose '67 Camaro body (don't remember from who), to build Dick Harrells Yenko Super Camaros car, I got the decals from Fred Cady & the only thing wrong with the decals was that the word Yenko was printed in white when it should have been black, I used a black Sharpie on it with no problems ( I already had the decals on the body, so I don't know if using the Sharpie before hand & then putting it in water would have any different effects).
  20. Sounds like the decal paper might be from Bare Metal Foil, the ones I got ( white & clear, bought both)come in 11x8.5, does the back of the paper say Inkjet White waterslide decal paper?, other brands might come in the same sizes with the same printing on the back, I don't know. Any Ideas on the colors for the remaining 2 "Horsemen"?
  21. The build looks good so far, like it!, wondering about 1 thing tho, it seems you are a Chevy Man, why the Dodge (Mopar)?, why not get Flashpoints 1/16 '70 1/2 Camaro? LOL!
  22. Yeah, more horsepower these days, but.. the '69/'70 Mustang was a lot better looking, Dodge did a good job copying the Challenger look, the new Camaro looks better to me seeing it on the street, all the pictures preceding it I didn't much care for, and considering all the better set-ups nowadays as you point out (horsepower, drivetrain, gas mileage etc.), I'd still take a '70 BB Plymouth 'Cuda over any of the new cars anyday.
  23. '70 Plymouth 'Cuda, '66&'70 Chevrolet Chevelle,'70 Ford Mustang (Mach 1).
  24. I apologize John, it seems my question was taken the wrong way,the Jag looks great & I can't wait to see it done, I've seen & admired your builds for awhile now & the Jag is pretty much at the top of the list. Once again I'm sorry if I offended you with my question.
