  1. So eBay and the New York Stock Exchange is the devil?
  2. I would take 3 Crown Vics and 2 Caprices. Nic
  3. http://www.policecarmodels.com/puplpode.html
  4. I'm sure you have it but there is one of the Ludgivson(sp?) Books out there from Iconografix that features this and the caddy. It's well worth the $30. Nic
  5. Awesome! I'll be watching this. Which kit did the chassis come from? Also what engine do you plan on using? I've got a Modelhaus Caddy that I'll be building one day to do the sister car. I've been hoping that Paul Fisher would do this car for years but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Nic
  6. Who makes those laser cut styrene trailers? I've seen a few here and there and am interested in seeing what all they have. Nic
  7. I have a bunch of Tom's stuff. All are of great quality. Just looking at his Fotki album on his casting techniques you know that what you get will be good! BTW, what '59 Chevy sedan kit did you get? I've got one of his roof transkits, but I also have a Hendrix sedan. I haven't gotten it out to look in a long time. Nic
  8. Just FYI, the '03-'04 body on the C5R is different from any of previous bodies as well as the engine air intake is one piece. The '99-early '00 is the first version they did with the longer hood vents. The '00-'02 body is the second version which is the one you see in this kit. The biggest difference is the shorter vents and large air exit area in the hood. For '03 they added much larger vents over the front wheels, changed the air exit area again, and a few other minor tweaks. To do a completely accurate '03 you need to do these mods or get one of Scale Productions transkits which already has the hood separate. They pop up from time to time. Harold Bradford from HRM did the early bodies and are fairly easy to get. Nic
  9. I've seen the graphite silver one. I seem to recall seeing one kind of a greenish metallic color and one a light silver or is this possibly all the same car from different lighting sources? Nic
  10. If I remember correctly there were three different colors used on these. Does anyone know where to get the colors? I bought one of these kits from Paul a while back and actually talked him into getting some of his cars back out. So glad I got this one. I'm not much into concepts, but like everyone says this is one of the coolest models around. He has talked about doing some of the other BAT cars. Nic
  11. If anyone doesn't want the turbocharged straight four that is in the kit, let me know and we can work something out. I need one for a trans am Merkur. Nic
  12. Looks good. All that body prep paid off and that blue is killer! Nic
  13. Defintely different, but I do like it. Nic
  14. This turned out great! I always look forward to your projects. What's next? Nic
  15. Looks great! BTW, the daytona version does not have the front splitter, vents over the front wheel, and the humps over the rear wheels. I will also have to modify the side openings and add a mesh cover over the front intake. Can't wait to see the finished version. Nic
  16. Brenden, correct me if I am wrong, but this appears to be from Watkins Glen or Mid-Ohio? I plan on converting mine to the '87 Daytona version. Hopefully I can start when I get moved into my new townhouse. Nic
  17. From my kit it looks like he did a run with a laser printer. These aren't microscale or cartograf. Of course that is reflected in the kit price of only $100. I do hope though that his next kits will have nicely printed full decal sheets. I do like this kit and he did the right thing for him with the decals as I doubt this would have sold a couple of hundred due to the obscurity of the car itself. It's more for niche modelers. Nic
  18. The Nissan Cube is out in 1/24th scale from Fujimi. I got one for free. Perfect price for such an ugly car, lol. It's a nice kit though, albeit only has the right hand drive. Nic
  19. That is all they have at present. He is only making roughly 60 of these due to the limited run decals. He may have sold out already, but you can try www.mshobbies.com. That's where I got mine. He knows Joe, and if there are more, he can get you one. Tell Mark I sent you. Nic
  20. That appears to be a twill weave. I would either use Studio27's full color Cartograf or SMS's 3D transparent (you can paint the black then). Nic
  21. Now, who makes decals in 1/24th scale? I have this kit in 1/43rd, but I would like the 1/24th. Nic
  22. Thanks guys. So how do I make a '61 from the AMT '62? Is there a place to order a transkit or an easy conversion? I was thinking the Modelhaus may have the promo pieces but will they fit on the AMT kit? Nic
  23. Am I right in thinking the only difference from a 1961 and a 1962 Thunderbird is the rear chrome detailing. 1961 has three vertically stacked bars whereas the 1962 has them horizontal? Nic
  24. I just got my crew cab from Keith in the mail today. I am very happy with it. The only bad part is trying to find a suitable donor chassis and a nice looking fire truck to build it into, lol. Nic
  25. Just glad I could help you out. I will be watching this thread. Nic
