    "Jezebel"

    This build was being called the Chicken Coupe, but I think Jezebel fits it better. Built to represent an early dirt track racer. Revell `40 Standard. Hot Flatty with edelbrock heads a 3 dueces. Engine parts from EYR & RmM. Scratch built roll bars, nerf bars, bumpers & exhaust. EYR Driver figure. Wheels by EYR & ERC. Gauges and wiring from Pro-Tech. Plasti-coat paint. Weathered with Red Ga Clay,pastels and Doc O`Brian powders.
  3. My current work area is a 8` x 12` building. But...........In process is my New Workshop. 12` x 24` , 16` of work bench, 42` total of shelving. Just finished the wiring and planning on installing walls tomorrow. Will be kinda chilly as the low tonight is in the low teens. I`ll post pics as soon as it looks presentable. Here are a few pics of my soon to be abandoned work shop;
  4. Less than 24 hrs. to go. Man.... I won`t sleep much tonight. Only about and hrs. drive for me. If you haven`t been to an NNL......Atlanta is the place to go. The ACME club puts on a great show...Cars at a easy viewing level...plenty of parking...great vendors...plenty of room for the models and vendors together. Just a SUPER show. Hey if your there look me up... I enjoy meeting folks from the forums. Prez, zoom zoom and some of the others can point me out or do like I do have them page someone for you. Well have to finish getting my Dio ready.. count my mad money and pack the car. See Ya`ll tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Good looking build noname! Looks just like something the average Joe would build in his back yard. Excellent weathering.
  7. Thanks for the compliments guys. That hole in the wall was the access from the grandstands to the pits. Dangerous but still there
  8. Will, The surface area of the track was coated with a Red Clay , white glue mix. Once it was dry i just laid down several LIGHT coats of testors Gloss Coat.
  9. Thanks for the idea Luke. Grandstands are my next Dio project. I made the track modular so I could add them later. Well......Call this one finished.........Now to see if ican get in a couple more builds completed before the Southern NNL`s in Atlanta.

  11. Third of four for the Dio finished, I`ll get better pics in the Daylight.
  12. Finished up the second of four for the Dio today. AMT `37 chevy coupe. About the only aftermarket parts on these builds are the EYR Driver figures and the rear tires from J & S. Slowly getting it completed for Atlanta.
  13. Completed the first of four Jalopys for My Dio. AMT 40 ford coupe used and abused. Weathered with a mix of Ga. Red Clay and white glue. 1 down 3 to go. Got to get them ready for Atlanta.
  14. Sign painters came today so I let them back on the track for some Hot Laps. Ole Buddy`s giving Rocky a shot in the rear while Herman slips by on the inside!!!!!! NOW ........Where did I put that MUD!!!!!!!!

  18. Super Build Walter! A+ on this one. Those were the days, stuff mega HP in a steel body with a straight front axel and Hang-em -Hi!
