  1. Very nice! Love the color combo exterior/interior!
  2. Before paint the body, I check if it fit correctly to the chassis. The metal chassis on the Gunze kit sometime can be a surprise... Luckly everything seems good!
  3. Is one of my favorite Ferrari too! I was thinking to build with stock fender, but I couldn't stand it... I retouch the front one too, but little bit only.
  4. More body work. Fist closing one of the vent. Here after some putty. Overall the body is pretty good, only few spot require some work.
  5. Nice restoration! I remember seen one, good looking car!
  6. I will keep in mind! Thanks!
  7. The chassis is pretty much completed. I did a light wash too. Gas tank painted and washed Chassis all completed with part of the interior Testing the exhaust options. Stock on the top, shorted on the bottom The body is ok, the big issue is the rear fender, the wheel opening on the top part is almost flat. When in the real car is round. Sorry for the blurry photo Corrected the wheel opening on the fender
  8. No, at least I don't use any special step. Usual stuff, primer and paint. I second that! It would be nice if somebody make them in photo etch. They sold a kit with engine, if I remember correctly. I was thinking to order other tires, and look into it more. but a the end I went with out of the box. If I wait for parts I'm afraid I'm going to put it on stand by. No regular primer. Never had any issue with it. Even when I built the Daytona Coupe, few years ago.
  9. More progress... Speaking of rims... Here all the part for make one rims. The dome shape part on the bottom left, will help to bend the spokes. Here the wheels done. I wish the tires had more details and a corrected shape. But over all they looks great!
  10. The kit has two sheets of photo-etched parts. First thing to build is the chassis. It could be little difficult because the metla part some time are not straigh. Before paint the chassis and the body, I moke them up to check that the fenders are centered with the center of the axles. Chassis painter and light weathered. Also added the "motor".
  11. I had this kit for few years and now I decided to do something with it. It is a Ferrari 250 GTO on 1/24 scale, and the kit is Gunze Sangyo from 1985! Inside the box The metal parts
  12. Thank you PappyD340 I think to make some Billy cans. But in the cab, no bed like the kit offer. Or some Pabst... Sorry to heard that... But my mom did the same, she tossed few cars I was working on...
  13. Thanks iamsuperdan! I think I'm going to leave the bed empty, and put some Billy cans inside the cab!
  14. Primer time! Painted cab, hood and bed.
  15. I hope one day you can fix your. I have the Revell Chevy Street Pickup, in the Hot Rod series that is pretti much the same truck.
  16. Painted the letters on the "new" tires.
  17. I noticed the front axle, for a little bit I thoug to add a differential and make a 4x4, but after I decided to leave it 4x2. I think to build it out of the box. With some minor mods.
  18. I don't like the tires in the kit, I think they are too much wider, and also the rubber is very ard, they feel like soft plastic. The tires in the kit are Goodyear Wrangler R/T, and I will replace them with some Goodyear Tracker A/T. The Tracker are the two on the right in the picture.
  19. First thing first, I modify the front axle, so the wheels will be able to trun. Here the chassis with suspension and brake line.
  20. I had this kit for a while and last week I start to build this truck. Here a few picture of the box art, and all the parts.
  21. Very nice display! Unfortunately is not sealed, so you need to clen your models after a while.
  22. I will have to check them!
