More udate... Painted the wheels. The wheels required a little bit of work, they were off center... On the back I replaced the kit tires with some toller I had. I get it, but I always prefer a firewall without cables... Removed the cabls I used the motor that came with the kit, Not probably correct for 1960, but maye it was swap year later... Engine in place. Jut to fill up the space in hte engine bay, I added battery and a horn. Interior painted and weathered. Still too emplty, so I added few things... -

Start to work on the ineterior. The interior is molded in one piece, not the best solution. I prefer when is in few pieces, so it make easy to paint. I decided to make a new steering wheel. The steering wheel completed. Steering wheel and column. -

Installed all the windows and interior. And now the Renegade is ready for the Ecto1 stuff! I was hoping to use the fool roof rack from the Ecto1 kit, but I went in a different way, and built a new one, more modern. Antenna mounts All painted! Now some stuff that was on the kit, I had to cut each one and add some details This one Is made out of a piece of pen and two Harley parking lights! Sanded and ready to be painted in yellow
-
Here the Tow hooks drilled and painted Some color also on the brake calipers. Windows needs to be tinted. I use testors paint for this Painted some detail on the door panels and dashboard

Years ago I converted the Ecto1 to a regular wagon. All the Ecto1 parts were left over, so I decided to put them on a Jeep. I bought the Jeep Renegade in 1/24, nice diecast model. Here what I did. The model ready for get all the Ecto1 stuff. Before I worked I disassembled the model. Painted some detail on the engine All the Tow hoos are in one pice, need to drill them out! Rear, also the exhaust need some work. The front lower grill need to be open up little bit.

Very nice build! On a small frame I don't recall, but on large frames, there was an optional, a side steps, so women with skirt could rest their feet. I had great memory riding a Vespa too! -

Nice collection! When I saw the custom roof, I though was a hood. But after I realized it was meant to be on the roof, and I though it did not look good. But looking at the green one, I dig it more and more! -
