  1. Front grille and rear bumper painted
  2. More udate... Painted the wheels. The wheels required a little bit of work, they were off center... On the back I replaced the kit tires with some toller I had. I get it, but I always prefer a firewall without cables... Removed the cabls I used the motor that came with the kit, Not probably correct for 1960, but maye it was swap year later... Engine in place. Jut to fill up the space in hte engine bay, I added battery and a horn. Interior painted and weathered. Still too emplty, so I added few things...
  3. Body painted and lightly weathered
  4. Looking good! The cigar for the bed is a nice/realistic touch!
  5. Painted the interior Also painted the steering wheel/column
  6. Dashboard painted and weathererd.
  7. Is going to be fun anyway! The 66 Tbird look good in it! I'll keep mine stock.
  8. Start to work on the ineterior. The interior is molded in one piece, not the best solution. I prefer when is in few pieces, so it make easy to paint. I decided to make a new steering wheel. The steering wheel completed. Steering wheel and column.
  9. The model completed! A lot of fun!
  10. Installed all the windows and interior. And now the Renegade is ready for the Ecto1 stuff! I was hoping to use the fool roof rack from the Ecto1 kit, but I went in a different way, and built a new one, more modern. Antenna mounts All painted! Now some stuff that was on the kit, I had to cut each one and add some details This one Is made out of a piece of pen and two Harley parking lights! Sanded and ready to be painted in yellow
  11. Here the Tow hooks drilled and painted Some color also on the brake calipers. Windows needs to be tinted. I use testors paint for this Painted some detail on the door panels and dashboard
  12. Years ago I converted the Ecto1 to a regular wagon. All the Ecto1 parts were left over, so I decided to put them on a Jeep. I bought the Jeep Renegade in 1/24, nice diecast model. Here what I did. The model ready for get all the Ecto1 stuff. Before I worked I disassembled the model. Painted some detail on the engine All the Tow hoos are in one pice, need to drill them out! Rear, also the exhaust need some work. The front lower grill need to be open up little bit.
  13. I decided to cut the door handle, I did not like that is one piece (no space for the hand).
  14. I will keep an eye out is I see a Vespa for sale. Agree! Hopeful for next year things are getting better.
  15. Very nice build! On a small frame I don't recall, but on large frames, there was an optional, a side steps, so women with skirt could rest their feet. I had great memory riding a Vespa too!
  16. I never stop building. Sometime the problem is finding the time... Nice Vespa, I build one in 1/9 around 20 years ago, was made by Protar. cool kit! Mine was not stock... Never had a Small frame stock... I hope is all good with you, in this crazy times!
  17. THe idea is to build it stockish... Since the kit has a V8. Thanks!
  18. Nice collection! When I saw the custom roof, I though was a hood. But after I realized it was meant to be on the roof, and I though it did not look good. But looking at the green one, I dig it more and more!
  19. Agree, you did good on your!
  20. I had this kit for a while, and maybe is time to build it... The idea is to build it stock, I mean not the "Little Eliminator". The kit looks nice! there are few extra parts that can be use with the model. I was surprised to see a lot of flashing around the parts. The stock wheels are made not very well, they are off center and too big. When installed on the tires, they wwill cover part of the white wall. The kit also has chrome wheels, but not tires for it.
  21. Have a section in the forum where we can have some update about the magazine, is a good idea.
  22. I bought it years ago at Michel's, works good!
