  1. Sweet project! Looking forward to see more!
  2. Very nice job done!
  3. Thank you! I don't know about sun glasses... But I repaint the eyes... I'm almost done with it. I need a wood base to put under it so it will be more presentable... The label will be printed and attached on the wood base. Here I also add some more vegetation. Another view, here also you can see the necklace on the code talker. And finally new eyes for both!
  4. @Gluehead, The chassis here it is way worse than the AMT stuff. I decided to build it any way, I don't want use a chassis from another kit, but after I clean the chassis, align it little bit, and start to glue the shocks, I notice that the front shocks are too long... So It is better use an AMT chassis, at least it is nice and straight. Here the flashing on some parts. The rest of the parts except the chassis looks not to bad. Here the chassis/shocks... @Bartster, cool! I saw only one a Postal jeep dragster in 1/1, probably you should buy it back and build it! I though to build it as dragster because of the roof, but, I prefer have it stock... @Casey, ok thanks. I will check it out, and ask if the kit come with exhaust and bumpers, because the kit I have doesn't have those parts.
  5. Very nice!
  6. Nice!
  7. Beautiful!
  8. Thanks you! Today I start to make some more vegetation, not a lot, only a few things only, tomorrow I will start to paint the eyes.
  9. I just got this kit from a friend, he bought it on evilbay some years ago for $70, never built because the kit has some issue, the roof is to low, tons of flashing to clear on the chassis, and some other odd stuff. So for him was not worth the price. He want to trash all, the box that came with the kit is gone already, I was able to save this kit bought it for $10, only because I like Jeep. Before start to build it, I would like to know if someone already had experience with it that can tell me what on the kit need to be corrected. The chassis looks rubberish, it bend easily, so I think is better replace it with a CJ5 AMT chassis. Other ideas are welcome!
  10. Beautiful!
  11. Nice!
  12. Looking good!
  13. Thanks, Is the first thing I will work are the eyes. I have a friend (native from Guam) that told me different... I show him the step to step while I was building and he approved the rocks I used. Here a picture from Yona, I see rocks on the river... This picture is from the Inarajan river... (www pacificworlds com/guam/land/water.cfm) Also here big rocks...

  16. Beautiful cars!
  17. It is not a full restoration, I want add and modify a few small things on this old build. The kit I started is the Willys MB from the Tamiya kit in 1/35, it was made in 1972, and is one of the worst kit ever made. The piece don't fit, above all between chassis, radiator, motor, body. Pretty much nothing fit. ;D Here some picture I toke a that time. For the engine I used the one from the Italeri kit, better made. Engine mount. Radiator detailed. Interior, with new dash, pedals and tranny cover. New firewall, blackout light details. And here all done in a little diorama. The first thing I need to change are the eyes! Wheels and chain are aftermarket parts. Rear view... Here some details on the tire, and add the water bag. Top view, you can see all the radios that are aftermarket. The idea was to recreate a communication Jeep that was used in Guam in 1943 by the US Marines. The idea that make build it is when I found that Native American were in the US Marines for do the radio communication, and get the name "Code talkers". The restoration will be only on the two soldiers, I need to redo the eyes, add some detail on the Native American, and maybe some vegetation around it. Soon I will post the new pics...
