  1. Jeff, Thanks for the great pics ! Looks like "same ol' same ol' " Too bad...!!!
  2. Jeff, Would you be kind enough to post pics of the rest of the kit, I wondering if they cleaned up the molds ? Thanks, Pete L.
  3. Fellas, Photos of the Avanti front seats. I have a past issue of the kit but never really checked out the bucket seats. This car like the Corvette I believe had a fiberglass body.
  4. Super nice job...the red wiring really makes it pop !
  5. Really like both of your builds...very well done !
  6. Felix, Really nice work !!!
  7. Super work !!!
  8. Folks, Is it just me or would other's like to see Monogram restore the old parts to some of their older reissues ? For starters, how about the Wide whites w chrome reverse wheels and baby moons on the "Little T" reissue ? Maybe the wide whites again with the spoked mags and slicks and the chrome reverse with knock offs on their " 1930 woodie wagon" ? Possibly the stock parts, wheels tires etc. on the 1940 Ford Pick-up ? And finally, the white walls spoked mags and slicks, chrome reverse wheels and knock offs on their "Little Deuce" and while they're at it how about putting the Pontiac motor back in the kit as well ? I'd sure like another crack at building those kits that I couldn't when I was a kid without scouring the countryside for replacement parts...
  9. Really slick piece...nice airbrush work too !
  10. Fellas, As I got older I gained some skills, the greatest of which is patience ! I used to rush my builds and sometimes screw them up and toss 'em out...no more. When I get flustered I put them away in the box 'til next time. Sadly, some have been waiting in their boxes for over TWENTY YEARS !!
  11. Fellas, Would someone please be kind enough to post a photo of Monogram's '30 Ford Woodie with the five spoke mags and whitewalls on the rear and knock off fronts ? It's propably original issue or secnd, I can't for the life of me find one on the net... Thank you,
  12. Fellas, Check this out, it's the same orange truck racing the '55 Chevy above pictured at Englishtown years later ! Chopped top, one piece 'glass nose w/Hilborn injected smb Chevy.
  13. Greg, That is cool...can't wait to see it finished !
  14. The Monogram kits from that era were truly works of art ! The colors used in molding the kits ie: '40 Pick up turquois, Blue Beetle blue, Lil' Coffin purple especially come to mind. To say nothing of the mutiple colored parts in the box, white walls etc... I
  15. Really cool build...great color combo !!!
  16. Really nice build...the chrome rollbar is a simple but eyecatching addition !!! The panel line work really makes the paint pop. Is that the most recent release or one from "back in the day" ?
  17. Really nice build !!!
  18. How about a drag truck ? Old Bridge '66 or '67 !!!
  19. Really nice work... love the Chaparrals !!!
  20. Really nice work...looks like a real funny car !!!
  21. I'm thinking that the AMT kits from '66 and '67 had them, and their A/FX kits ( Chevy II, Chevelle, Mustang, 'Cuda) ALL had TWO piece slicks as well as front tires made of plastic. I know that either the '66 or '67 MPC Dodge Charger had them.
  22. Super job...nice color combo !!!
  23. Great conversion...super color combos !!!
  24. GREAT work...love the subject matter !!!! :D
