I really did not mean for my comets to infer that this was strictly for the auto industry, it does fit, but just about anything. Ever get a chance to see inside of an ATM? The people that designed them never, I mean never planed for the fact the machine to have any maintenace preformed, without taking totally unnecessary parts off, and laying upside down. Thats just one example, there are many many more. Over engeering is real watch for it. It's everywhere.

I guess it's OK news, but what it really is STRESS untill it gets here, then spending at least a week devouring everything from cover to cover. Oh well the sacrifices one must make. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into getting this magazine out. -
Me too.

before you get too far along, the interior of the car is the same as the exterior, French, only the door panels( upholstery) is black. Dash, steering wheel is also black. you are thinking way too hard, these were really basic cars, with the exception of some "acid dipped " body panels. Great model will finish up to your liking.- 34 replies

Just found thread, and as always, I'm amazed at all the great Mercs. The stock, mild customs, and most of the wild custom, if its a 49-51 mercs. I've seen "chopped" channeled frenched lowered and just about anything that can be done to a merc, but rarely have I seen a Merc, with the dip taken out of the door. That was one of the most popular things done to the sleds. Why is this
