I truly admire your detail and craftmanship. The only suggestion I might have is what seems to have been forgotten by most builders is dulling down the tires not just on the treads, but the side walls. Simply take an old worn toothbrush, dip into baking soda( damp brush) and scrub tires, will take the shine right down. No one seems to do this anymore. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing.

I really did not mean for my comets to infer that this was strictly for the auto industry, it does fit, but just about anything. Ever get a chance to see inside of an ATM? The people that designed them never, I mean never planed for the fact the machine to have any maintenace preformed, without taking totally unnecessary parts off, and laying upside down. Thats just one example, there are many many more. Over engeering is real watch for it. It's everywhere.

Engineers, design things, they don't have to work on or repair what ever you can think of. I'm not just refering to automotive products.

I believe Laski decals has re placement rivots that will give you a more in scale look. I have used the louvers in the same way. good luck.

My first was in 1959. It was a Stanley Steamer molded in red and had a whole bunch of gold coloerd chrome. Just can't remember the mfg.
