I agree.. I can't see why they would say no if that particular dealership was going to just crush the cars anyway. I don't think the government owns the cars once they are traided in, maybe the engins. so would it really be a federal crime? a crime yes, moral and civil yes. but federal?

oh and Joe would be wrong. I would have felt his pain, but still wrong.

here is a very good link about that. I was not aware of what they did with the cars either, I thought they totally crushed the. seems they only have 180 days to sell off the parts once they get them. I also have to hide the stack of porches I have by the door so Brandon doesn't faint when he sees them. I'm looking forward to this, it will be like watching a bunch of kids on Christmas morning

I honestly wish I could say yes.. but usually after I leave storage if it isn't in my hand I have forgotten what is in there.. I know I had that camaro I brought it home yesterday but my bro saw it and swiped it when he stopped by last night.. evidently Mikey had one... I am sorry I just don't have the memory for models I should.. I take it you can't make it on the 17th? LOL

Hi Everyone! It is to the point in storage that I need help with it. Brandon (Kuztommodels88) and CrazyJim are coming up and over on September 17th around 9-10am to help me out for a bit.. They are going to help me condense, sort, repack and answer my questions on the models. I guess you'd have to actually see the storage to understand why it gets crazy in there for me LOL. I've sold around 600 so far and there still are around 1,500 left to work through.. some build, some in pieces, some missing pieces, empty boxes, boxes of bodies and of course still sealed ones. If anyone is within driving distance and wants to swing by to help or just get a peek at the model car madness, give me a shout. Thank you

Hey Jim, I emailed ya back from my everyday email.. only because I've sent 500 or so models in the last 3 months, I'm thinking it should be there today and I was kidding about the Elmer's glue.. I know I need to use the kind my bro's friends use to sniff as kids haha..

that is exactly why I am selling most of them the way I am... I understand how expensive the hobby is now and I may just be able to allow someone to buy one they have been wanting for years at an affordable price.. I think that is what dad would have wanted. I have set back several of the models for myself, some for my nephews and of course still have all of the one's he's built..

haha George, he didn't have to many kits that there wasn't at least one more of. I think his grand plan was to have 3 of each, one to build, one to trade and one to look at on the shelf.. unfortunatly the models that he's got 6 or so of don't interest me.. ah well I'll find one. I really liked the cord, but now I'm leaning away from it... I'm heading to storage now to dig out 15 more to post on ebay today, maybe I'll run across something I can't put down!

I just may Marshall, I had already asked Brandon about the paints and stuff that still are on dad's desk in Model Car World, plus his paint booth is still set up.. I wouldn't be afraid to ask you questions we speak the same language (blah blah blah) haha

but I haven't built a model in 20 years and that was of a ship for history class..... of course my father checked the progress nightly LOL
