Rick, it is the new Revell Sox & Martin kit. The wheels are from forward resin off of ebay. Tim, I am working on a Ramchargers Duster and getting ready to try a 70 Motown Missile Challenger. Thanks
Thank you all for the comments. My first try was with paint but the blue cracked and crazied badly. This one is slixx decals with testors Hemi Orange on dupli-color medium blue BFM0382. It took a bunch of micro set to get the decals the behave but overall I happy with how it turned out. I will say fitting the chassis into the body on this kit is quite a chore as it fits real tight. Again, thanks for the kind words.
This is an older build from 2009 I did using the fire fighter and Omni combo.
I intend on doing a Dick Landy Omni now that my skills have improved some.
Speed City is indeed one of the best I have had dealings with. I would add Competition Resin, MAD, SMBC, Calnaga Castings, Harts Parts, Bandit Resin and just had a very nice buying experience with Fireball Resin.
The body is on. Still needs the coil and cool can along with bumpers and final deacls. I am not real happy with the wheels and tires so I may changes those out yet.
And a dad's job is never done as I had to fix the wing on The King or my son would not go to bed.
Thanks for looking.
Got the side windows installed and the motor wired up in the Cuda.
I cut out the back of the grille and will add wire mesh and install the head lights tonight.
Who knows, I may finish one of these yet this year
Nothing is really done on the Duster, it is just sitting on the tires so they will not look that way if I ever get it done. The Duster I think was a 1 year deal with Ted Flack & Howard Comstock , From Allpar.com "In 1974 I got a real sponsorship deal to run a 360 Duster, that is the car that put me on the map, won darn near everything with it. It was the Ramchargers car. " The Ramchargers Cuda is much more well known compared to the Duster. Thanks
