  1. Welcome Priscilla!
  2. Welcome Darrell! Share some pics of your Falcon too.
  3. It might have just been my particular car. It was brand new sitting on the lot as a "demo". My first red flag was when it would not even start for the test drive... Turns out the CPU module, or whatever they were called back then, had crapped out...
  4. Very nice work on this build! Had a 1:1 of these in gold, serviced by the dealership. It went through 6 (yes, SIX...) turbochargers! Although covered under warranty, it turns out that they never changed the oil when replacing the turbos, so all of the metal shavings from said turbos wound up beating the crank, etc. to death... Not a great memory.
  5. Very nice builds, Michael! The F430, Aventador, Viper, Camaro, and slant-nose 911 are my favorites.
  6. Very nice builds, Dan!

  8. A very classic, and elegant color combo. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  9. Beautiful job on this Simon! Have one on order and will probably start it after my current build is complete. I will make sure to keep an eye on that rear wing. I don't suppose it can be built without it? Cheers, Mathias
  10. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope things get better... Beautiful finish on that Willy's!
  11. All outstanding builds Don! The Cougar Eliminator is one of my favorites. You have inspired me to try lighting on my current car build. Have built several sci-fi based builds with lighting, but this will be my first attempt at lighting a car model. Cheers, Mathias
  12. Some cool stuff there Bill! Really like the Lancia Stratos, and the Lotus Esprit.
  13. Nice builds. That Nova is just awesome Scott!
  14. Hi Calvin, haven't checked in on this build in a while. The troubles with the decals, aside from being on the thick side with Tamiya, may be due to the fact that they are old. Additionally, if the kit was unsealed and stored somewhere with drastic temp/humidity changes, it could affect the decals as well. Ask me how I know... πŸ˜‰ Some kits are just like that, I don't think it has anything really to do with your skill level, after all, each kit is just practice for the next one, right? I hope this does not put you off on the Tamiya kits as usually, they are very well engineered and a joy to build. Keep at it, you are doing good! Cheers, Mathias
  15. Excellent builds David!
